Morning all, another bright day today.  Forecast is for a bit showery tomorrow and then back to sun until mid week.  We're away again this weekend but have decided I'm sticking to G&Ts and/or 0% G&Ts rather than having wine.  That way I'm less likely to go over my syns!

We plugged the motorhome in last night so the fridge should be nice and cold this morning so should be able to get at least some of the food in plus we need to put in enough clothes for the weekend.  Hopefully will only be eating out on Saturday and will choose as sensibly as possible the same as last week.  I'm determined to shift that stubborn half pound to get back into target range.

@SingleSue - try not to be upset about having 2lb loss - I'd love a 2lb loss - in all the time I've been doing SW my biggest loss has only been 1.5lb!  Now you're off that particular medication you'll probably have an even bigger loss this week.  Water retention can be such a PITA!

    Today's plan:

    B - stuffed mushrooms - HEA2; S; F
    L - falafel stuffed pitta, salad - HEB; P; S
    D - Cottage pie, broccoli - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - nothing planned as yet but no doubt will have some!

    Have a good day everyone.

    @SingleSue. 2 lbs is still 2 lbs.

Thanks guys, I know I should be happy with it especially with all the medication but this is over 3 weeks and not one (we officially weigh every 3 weeks at SW) and equates to a smidgeon over half a pound a week. I think it doesn't help that the person you are going with loses 5.5lbs in the same time frame and being not exactly on plan during that time whereas I have been completely on plan even when I have felt too eek to be and have forced myself to eat and stick to it.

I'll get over myself soon and see it for the success it was against the medication, rather than it not being a positive.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

    Afternoon all.

Well done on the loss @SingleSue

Thanks for the recipe @Mrs_Ryan, will add it to the plan when I get back from holiday.

Last working day today and have been on a roll and got everything done that I needed to.  1 more meeting and then after that the out of office is on!  Had muesli with ff yogurt and blueberries for breakfast, lunch was a salad with a tin of mackerel and dinner tonight is a final stir fry using up all the last bits of veg (and a glass of wine because...holiday mode!).

Probably won't be on tomorrow with getting all the last minute bits sorted, so hope you all have a good weekend and week and I'll be back after the bank holiday (and probably with an epic gain!)

    Evening all

Well done Sue and son 👏👏

Ruby have a lovely holiday x

Coxy, hope your Dad got home ok x

    Denise have a nice break.

Been with Mum today went to pay for the funeral at the bank but they closed the accounts not froze them 🙄 so she looked and said the cheque had been processed on the 15th so should receive it soon. When we got home it was there, so i took it and Mum's bank book and paid it straight in so next week we can pay it, otherwise next week would have to wait for it to clear then go another day. I have to go past hers tomorrow as taking neighbour into another town for a funeral , so i'll drop her book back off.

By the time we got back was gone 2, so i just had some fruit.

Ham, egg, pork pie salad for tea, syn free, 2 syns lighter then light mayo

Well done @SingleSue. 👏👏👏 I'm sure you probably would have had more without the medication so hopefully that will show next time as it works its way out of your system.

    Have a great holiday @ruby_eskimo. 😁

Thanks so much for the salmon recipe @MrsRyan and well done you on the exercise. 👍 And you're really getting into your cricket @annabanana82.😁

I think funeral directors understand there can be problems with banking @bubbs but I'm sure you're mum will be happier now it's sorted.

My meals have been on plan but was out for tea this afternoon. My friend had a garden party with caterers. I did have cake and sandwiches but line is now drawn so 4 days on plan coming up. I will be having weekend wine syns but nothing else to get in the way.

Maman, funeral directors obviously don't check things as they rang yesterday and said Dad's ashes were ready to be collected. Mum said they are not being collected we have interment 1 st Sept, she goes oh yes 🙄
She will be when i tell her tomorrow it will be cleared tomorrow night.

Maman, glad you had nice time and i bet the cake was yummy 😋

  • Hi all,

@maman, yes I've never played a team sport other than at school before, but I'm enjoying it very much.

Its been a bit hit and miss this week with food, seems to be so much going on at the moment and lots of change. DD got her A level results today and her first choice university place. She'll be very local but will be strange going from 5 to 3 as the two older ones head for uni (Yr 1 and Yr2)

Hoping to have at least stayed the same tomorrow.

    Morning everyone,

Sorry for lack of posting. Busy time at work (in the office yesterday) and all the worries about DDad. Thanks so much for your thoughts xx Dad saw the urologist yesterday and has been booked in for 24 August to look at 'suspected' tumours despite our UK urologist saying they were 'suspicious' - we feel it's been lost in translation. He has had to amend his medication pending treatment and is now injecting his blood thinners twice a day into his stomach, which Stepmum kindly filmed for us??? So the worry continues but not a lot I can do from here.

Food has been semi-on plan. I was in the office yesterday and took breakfast and lunch, then DH cooked SW in the evening. I did have a piece of cake after - left from Tuesday's gathering. DD is back from uni now for good, so hoping she will finish off the pizza and cake today! Have asked for a holiday this week at group, although I will still go and do Pay. I need the group therapy tbh - we have a lovely bunch who turn up every week :)

I have several mossie bites - one on my upper arm, one on my knee, one on my behind(!) and horror of horrors, one on my face! They are itchy and lumpy and gross. I am the elephant woman.

Sorry to miss @ruby_eskimo and hope she has a fab holiday x
Well done on the losses @SingleSue and son. I agree that the medication won't have helped but a good loss nonetheless x
Glad you are getting things sorted @bubbs and thanks for the food p0rn as usual xx

Food today will be decided shortly. I need to rummage in the freezer for something for dinner. Breakfast was Weetabix, strawberries and mullerlight, so all good there.

    Have a good day everyone
