Morning all
Well done on the losses @beanielou and @Mrs_Ryan!
Hope the funeral goes well @maman. Been to a couple of woodland burials - be prepared to walk over uneven and muddy ground to get to the grave site as not all of them have defined paths.
Hope your WFH day isn't too stressful @Coxy11 with everything else going on.
Feeling a bit better about things this morning and living by the mantra that "done is better than perfect" when it comes to work. 3 more days to get through 🤞 Will be going for a walk after work today to just get out the house again and might even stretch to doing a workout as well or maybe some yoga.
No breakfast yet as not very hungry at the moment but will have some ff yogurt and museli if I need it. Lunch is another ham salad and I'm loving an apple in a salad at the moment. Dinner is a prawn stir fry for something simple and quick.

Morning all, and weather is looking lovely and a great forecast for the week.
Well done @beanielou on your 2.5lb loss 👏👏👏
@maman - Hope the funeral goes as well as these things can and the reception after has some SW friendly foods you can have.
That sounds a very stressful evening @Coxy11 - rather you than me with that number of people. Can't blame you going for the simple option of pizzas and salad.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast - HEB; P
L - stuffed peppers - S; F; HEA2
D - spag bol - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.

Great losses @beanielou and @Mrs_Ryan. @Coxy11 I hope you have a lovely family evening later.
Trying to organise a busy day with OH, someone needs to be here for a delivery and we both need to be out and about several times separately, looks like we now have a plan.
Some kind of sausage and mushroom pasta bake to concoct for supper, will look at the App, but have some LF cream cheese and plenty of seasonings in stock, I never use reduced fat hard cheeses, just use smaller amounts, not exact, but seems to work O.K., probably the reason for my slow weight loss, but happy with that.
Lovely and sunny here, have a good day all.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)1 -

Evening all
Been a really busy day. I’m on a phased return to work at the moment and I’m only doing 5 hours instead of my usual 8. The first two hours were really frustrating as one of my major systems wasn’t working so I had to run a check for software which takes 2 hours. In that time I can’t use the system so couldn’t take any calls. I did some e-learning instead. I managed to take 3 calls in my last hour though- I hadn’t realised how rusty I was after 14 weeks off the phone!I had planned to go to the gym but because my arm is still so badly bruised the doc has advised me to give it a miss until it’s fully healed. I have been given the green light for walking though, and I had to pop into town after work to collect a parcel. I got off the bus a stop earlier, ran up the stairs to the shopping centre, picked up my parcel and had a mooch around the shops. I got some bits and pieces, sprinted up the escalator instead of standing still, and got the bus home hat forces me to walk through the village instead of getting off at the top of my road. Pretty pleased with my activity!I came home and cooked this- it’s salmon and dill spaghetti from the magazine. This was a massive step outside my comfort zone but oh blimey it was amazing. It made one heck of a mess in the kitchen too 😂had to do the dishes twice and then sweep up the bits of green beans/tender stem broccoli/sugarsnaps that had escaped from the chopping board 😂😂it’s salmon and dill linguine in the mag, but couldn’t get hold of any whole meal linguine so used good old spaghetti instead.Today’s menu:
B: Scrambled eggs (with the tiniest dash of semi skimmed- I’m allowing 0.5) tinned tomatoes on HEXB toast. Piece of mango. Cup of decaf coffee with HEXA 1.L: Cheese (HEXA 2) and tomato rice (2.5) salad
D- Salmon and dill spaghetti (free) 2 pieces of Waitrose dark choc (7.5) Gin and diet lemonade
S: Popchips (3.5) Coconut Bliss bar (4)
Syns: 20

Hi all well done @Mrs_Ryan on that huge loss!
I'm back to work tomorrow for 3 days then another week off. Took my daughter to a Chinese supermarket today, decided to have lunch there but only ate some noodles and the broth. I was expecting roast pork but got huge amounts of fatty streaky bacon in my dish. The broth was very tasty though.
Played cricket last night, thankfully the weather brightened up as we all thought it would be rained off. 13000 steps today so think I'm on track exercise wise!
Food today
B: overnight oats, blueberries and strawberries free
L: broth and noodles as above syns ??baked rice, pork 1 spoon curry sauce 2 syns
Snacks: 2 plums, scoop blackcurrant sorbet.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Morning all, I could get used to this lovely weather! Forecast to get to mid 20s today. Another machine load of washing done, will hang that out on the line shortly.
Going to WI later and hoping I have lost enough to at least be back at top end of target - my scales say I have!
Well done @Mrs_Ryan on the exercise and stepping outside your comfort zone with dinner. Looks delicious. I never seem to have the "right" pasta when doing recipes - mainly because I only buy spaghetti plus one other shape of pasta depending on what's cheapest - usually get the spirals which is what I used last night as actually hadn't got any spaghetti left so it was pasta bolognaise rather than spaghetti bolognaise!
Today's plan:
B - grapefruit with sprinkle of sweetener - S
L - egg on toast with beans - HEB; P; S
D - chicken curry, rice, HM flatbread - P; S; F; 4.5
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - WM flatbread 4; 2 profiteroles 7 (made by DD1s chef partner)
Have a good day everyone1
