Afternoon all, we're back home after a lovely weekend and it actually stayed dry and warm even though showers were forecast. Had a couple of lovely meals out, both of which were as SW friendly as I could get from the menu but both had quite a few syns in them. I've gone over syns every day since Thursday only by a few but still need to rein it back in as hopefully going to feel up to driving and going to group. My eyesight is greatly improved and no blurring or anything like that.
So sorry to hear things aren't good for your hubby @TakeItEazy; hopefully things will improve soon.
Hope you are feeling better soon @SingleSue and well done on your losses.
Back on plan from today and keeping low syn! Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - burger, onions, gherkin slices in soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
D - roast chicken dinner (assuming the chicken is OK as the fridge packed up while we were away so not sure if it will be OK - it's a cook in the bag one so can't even have a sniff before cooking it!)
If the chicken has gone off then I've got a bolognaise sauce in the slow cooker so we can have that instead!
Hope you've all had a good day.0 -
TakeItEazy said:@Mrs_Ryan what’s the new tatt? I had one in April just before my sister passed, an infinity symbol with our names & sisters forever incorporated in it. My sister was still conscious when I had it done but didn’t open her eyes just smiled and called me daft 🥺. She is with me always 💔💞💔Afternoon everyone
Hope all well with everyone. First WI tomorrow. Hoping for a decent loss, I’ve been so good this week!!I’ve got some Sevilla Orange gin coming from Amazon later. I bought a bottle last week when I was away and drank the lot in two days with some diet lemonade (I might add it’s 0%!) 😂I’ve checked it on the app and it’s free so I’ll be enjoying some of that later I think. It’s absolutely delicious. It’s called Tanqueray Flor De Sevilla Alcohol Free gin.Heading out for a walk soon as I’ve got a parcel to collect from the locker. I’ve also got the magazine to read as well.Today’s menu:
Brunch: 2 x wholemeal buns (HEXB +10 for 1 x bun and spread) 5 x Heck Sweet Chilli Chicken sausages (2.5- these are gorgeous, I saw them advertised in the SW mag and picked some up while shopping) rocket leaves, tomatoes, flat peach. Decaf coffee with HEXA
D- SW lamb ‘kebab’ with couscous and salad (0.5)
S: Popchips (3.5) Skinny bar (3) Gin and diet tango
Syns: 19.5
Hope everyone having a good day. Lots of love xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Just checked that gin on the website as the other alcohol free gins are 0.5 syns for 50ml! I wonder why that flavoured one is Free - no rhyme nor reason with SW! I've got a Gordons alcohol free Gin with a diet tonic. I quite enjoy a couple of alcohol free G&Ts for 0.5 syns - just as enjoyable as a real one. I've tried the ordinary Tanquery free gin but have to say I much prefer the Gordons one.0

I have that Tanqueray Seville AF one too, very nice, nice to enjoy something without feeling guilty!

Afternoon all .
Been out for a family meal for Dad's birthday 🧡
We all had carvery, the syns were in cauli cheese, spoonful of gravy i had and yorkshire which was huge! I had beef and gammon. But never had syns yesterday and none today apart from that.
Couldn't believe my niece she is 10 and such a little dot , but my god she can eat!! She said she had some of every veg 🤣, carrots, mashed pot, roast pot, peas, roasted veg, creamy potatoes, gammon, turkey, cauli cheese , stuffing, yorkshire, then sent her sister back for loads of apple sauce, she has it with everything 😂 Mum said bet she won't have meat as she is not a big meat eater but eats loads of veg but she did .
Denise glad your eye is good.

How lovely to have a child that eats veg @bubbs. What a little star! 😁
We've just got back from a lovely day out for our wedding anniversary. We took the train to Poole and went to Brownsea Island. It's stayed dry and warm all day. Breakfast was fine at home, I had a JP for lunch at NT cafe. Before we came home we had fish and chips. Well you have to at the seaside, it's the law! 🤣
I had to smile at DH. When I was tucking in to fish and chips, he said it's a good thing you got back in target this week. He knows how SW works as well as I do! 🤣
Back on plan tomorrow. 👍1
