Glad things went as well as they could Bubbs, sending my love to your Mum as know it will be so hard for her 💔💞.

Been another !!!!!! of a week, poor hubby admitted back into hospital as his fistula stopped working due to clotting and narrowing. 

Had more angioplasty which got the ‘thrill’ back but will need another op as they couldn’t widen the narrowing in his neck. They have finally prescribed aspirin but doubt that will help much. I liken it to filling potholes instead sorting the cause. Will be back there again soon 😤. At least he’s home now, will see how dialysis goes later 🥺.

I did a did a Delboy thing!! At vets, bent down to hold dogs head and lent against a cabinet……. That wasn’t there 🤯 fell over 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Hubby nearly wet himself laughing, even dog looked at me as if to say !!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Morning all
Early one for me 😂footie is on at 12.30 so I got myself up to get breakfasted and get my Arsenal top on before the match starts. Husband hates football so he’s finding himself some tasks to do. My arm is an absolute mess- the bruising has spread to under my tattoo which I’m really cross about. I did say I didn’t want them to use that arm because of the new tattoo. I was supposed to be going back in two weeks for a repeat but I think I’m going to cancel until the 8 weeks healing time on my tattoo is up. They can wait (it’s not anything urgent or acute, just a regular monitoring test therefore a few more weeks won’t really make a difference) 

Today’s menu; 
B- Carrot cake porridge (HEXB +6 for milk) 
L- SW meal pot and veg 
D- Marmite Mac and cheese; salad (HEXA x 2) 
Snack at bingo- Popchips and Skinny Bar- 7.5 
S- WW wrap with ham and salad (5.5) 
Syns: 19

Morning all,

1lb gain this week and absolutely no idea why as I’ve been 100% on plan, have planned around medical appointments and haven’t cheated once despite very much wanting to. I was nominated for woman of the year so had to stand up and talk - not my favourite thing at all. Didn’t win but nice to be nominated. 

Bought some chocolate on the way home and have already had some. Very much need it. DDad is doing okay - thanks for your support and kind words. He is set to see his own urologist on Thursday once back in Cyprus. 

Sorry to read about DH @TakeItEazy hope the dialysis goes okay later. Had to giggle at your delboy moment though. I hope only your pride hurt xx

@SingleSue hopefully today's appointment will help with the pain.
@bubbs your DM will probably feel adrift for a while, friends were talking about one of our number (in her 80's) who was suddenly bereaved a month ago, who is soldiering on, but feeling rather lost too.
@Coxy11 such a fraught time for you and your sister, I hope that DF will get treatment/surgery soonest when he returns home. Rotten luck with that undeserved gain.
@TakeItEazy fingers crossed that OH's dialysis goes without problems.
@Mrs_RyanI don't blame you for putting off that blood test.

Nothing much happening here, I am testing the limits somewhat now at goal, each day so far been smack on each daily weigh in, I have always weighed myself most days to try and keep things in check - as also advocated by Mr Mosley recently, my weight gain came from last  Winter's over indulgence of dips and nibbles Friday and Saturday evenings and a soon acquired mini addiction to Chocolonley chocolate!

So looking forward to my youngest brother arriving home next week. He and SIL are staying with parents (so have three weeks of freedom, wine is chilling 😜🤣) and nephew is staying with me for the first week.

Have made a huge lasagne which we’ll have tonight with chips and salad and will portion up rest for the freezer. Chilli is in the slow cooker now and I’m hoping to make  lentil, pea and ham and cowboy beans tomorrow.

@Mrs_Ryan what’s the new tatt? I had one in April just before my sister passed, an infinity symbol with our names & sisters forever incorporated in it. My sister was still conscious when I had it done but didn’t open her eyes just smiled and called me daft 🥺. She is with me always 💔💞💔

Afternoon all.

Well i told you i would gain as sandwiches and cake, 2.5 on, so working to get back in target again 🙄 but out for a meal tomorrow, so it will be what it will be.

I have really tried to keep myself busy today as i really miss my Saturdays with Dad 😪😪

TIE i am so sorry DH is having all these problems 😣 hope he gets sorted soon.

Maddie, although Mum had not had Dad at home for 8 months ...well apart from 10 days i guess because she visited him for 6 months in hosp and 2 months in respite every day it's a big chunk our of her day, also because she is not very mobile and lives in a village she is stuck at home, although she is going to get a mobility scooter as she was on about this before Dad passed so at least she can go down the village.

It seems that gains are the order of the day. ☹️ It's irritating, especially when undeserved, but keep plodding! 😁

It will help your mum if she can get out and about @bubbs. Do you think she'll have her knees sorted now? 🤔

It's possible to make all sorts of dips with yogurt @maddiemay and  shop bought salsa is quite low syn. The problem is that they don't taste as good with veg bits as with nachos and the like. 😉

Maman i don't know if she will, but then it's the problem stopping with her 🤔i mean yes a couple of days but no one can stop longer than that

Hubby said nothing has been fixed 🥺 still clotting and still narrowed vein 😤 looks like another hospital visit 🙄
