Good to see you posting again @MrsRyan. It's really good that you've found a new group so close to home so no transport problems for you. 🤞🏼 you can get your diabetes under control with a return to healthy eating.

When do you expect any results for your dad @Coxy11? It must be getting close to his flight date.🤔

Not seen @Longwalker for a week or so.🤔 I expect she's up to her eyes with visitors but it would be a shame if she didn't keep the weight off for the wedding coming up.

Yes, I'm excited about the walk-in larder too @ruby_eskimo and @Jellybaby. It's not just for food but I'll be able to buy gadgets and have somewhere to store them! I'm definitely going to get an air fryer soon as I'll need to be able to cook when the kitchen is out of action.

I went to WI and had the best of news! I lost the needed 1lb and I'm back in target range! 👍🏼 The scales hovered again and once they settled I asked the WI lady to write it down PDQ before it changed its mind! 🤣 It'll make such a difference as I've got 2 or 3 things on in the coming week where non-SW food will be available and I can relax. Of course, I'll stay on plan in between but any gain can be seen off before the next WI. Yesterday I wore a skirt that, I thought, made me look fat so I didn't expect a loss. I'm so pleased to be proved wrong! 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk
L- Spanish omelette (P,S,F), pickles and salad bits (S)
D- savoury mince (P,S), potatoes (F), cauli, broccoli, carrots, cabbages (S)
    Syns-0

Yipppeee @maman for the 1lb loss and getting back into target. That's fab news.

I'm hoping the urologist will give us some news tomorrow about DDad. He flies next week Wednesday provided he is allowed.... Stepmum is saying we should have waited for him to see his urologist in Cyprus. But he would have been having symptoms for 3 weeks by then. Can't flaming win! In the meantime, she's sent me 3 videos of her 8 cats.....

    Afternoon all
thanks for the warm welcome back. Speaking of warm, phew it’s a scorcher here! Finished work at 3pm and took a short walk to our village Co-op but that was enough! I have to keep my new tattoo out of the sun so that’s good enough excuse for me 😂

    Today’s menu:
B: SW ‘McMuffin’ - 3 x SW sausage patties, 2 fried eggs and rocket in HEXB wholemeal roll, 4 Syns- for spread)
L: Cheese and tomato rice salad (2.5 for rice; 2 x HEXA for cheese) Flat peach
D- pasta and meatballs with salad (3 for meatballs)
    S: Popchips (3.5) 2 x Skinny Bars (6)
    Total: 19

    lots of love xx

We’ve only come to Canterbury so about an hour from home but it’s a good place to get buses to other places from.  We were delayed by that fire on the M2 too @Coxy11 but not as long as you!

Thinking of you and your family today@bubbs.  Hope it goes as well as these things can.

Good to see back @MrsRyan and hopefully you can get the diabetes under control with diet and avoid medication.

Got to love a walk in larder.  I had one put in when we had our kitchen done a few years ago.  It holds so much that we decided against wall cupboards which makes the room seem much bigger.

Sticking to plan at the moment but not sure what will happen over the next few days.  I’ve put in SW friendly food but no doubt there will be some meals out where it’s harder to stick to it unless can get a jacket or salad.

Not sure how much I can post as internet isn’t brilliant in this area!

Hope everyone has the good weather that we are enjoying.

Good menu @MrsRyan. 👍 I'm sure you'll see quick results, you always do.

I'm glad stepmum has her priorities right @Coxy11. Cats!!! 🤣 Hopefully, your dad will be fit to fly and can have any treatment he needs in Cyprus.

    Morning everyone,

A grey start here - hope it warms up. I'm taking DDad to his appointment for 1pm but will pop to Ts first for his paper, a sandwich for him to have en route to the docs and something quick and easy for tea. Possibly breaded fish for DH and DDad.

L - LO rice fried with peas and soy sauce - free
    D - LO chicken biryani - free
    HEA - milk

    Morning all.

Well done on being back in target range @maman.  I think I've put on a little bit this week already - blaming stress!

Loving the priority of cats @Coxy11 - hope the appointment goes well this afternoon.

Enjoy your time in Canterbury @joedenise - sometimes just a small change of scenery is enough of a break rather than going away away.

Feeling rather stressed in the pre-holiday "get everything done" mentality which led to some just eating rubbish last night and then having weird dreams.  Line drawn and back to it this morning.  Had a ff yogurt with some granola and mango for breakfast.  Lunch will be a chicken salad and then dinner tonight is carbonara with salad on the side.

Hope everyone has a good day and weekend.

    Morning all,

Fab being back in target range @maman 👍
Have a lovely time away @joedenise

The fridge and freezer are looking decidedly bare so food today will be using up bits and pieces. I've started a shopping list for tomorrow and will probably have a cooking session at some point over the weekend.

    Today's food:
B - granola (HEB), mango, pineapple, Kvarg 0.5 syns
L - veggie omelette using up l/over roasted veg, pickles
D - beef casserole (that has more veg than beef!), potatoes, peas

    Have a good day everyone.
