No didn't go to WI - I can't drive yet! Not even sure I'll feel up to it next week. Have booked this week and next week as holiday so hoping I'll feel up to it and back in target by then! Not long after that and it will be time for my other eye to be done!

Well hello all!Long time no post. After I lost all that weight and got my diabetes into remission 2 years ago, I’ve put most of it back on 😫I tried that other weight loss organisation a few months ago but had to give up- I was using all my points on carbs and still hypoing on a regular basis. Plus i only lost 1/2 a stone in 3 months. I rejoined SW about 3 months ago and then caught Covid so never went back to group.
But the local group is moving to just around the corner from my house and my good friend is coming too (like me she’s a long term SW’er) so I’ll have some moral support. I’ve so far managed to avoid going up a clothes size, despite a 1.5 stone gain 😫but I worked so hard to get down to an 18/20 that I don’t want to resort to a 22. I’ve got just under 4 weeks until I’m away again, so I’m going to make as big a dent in that big gain before I’m away as I can. I’ve also just gone back to work after a mammoth 12 weeks off sick, I’m just easing myself back in gradually. I’m also forcing myself to eat properly which after 12 weeks of eating utter rubbish is not easy.
I have my diabetes blood test on Friday and I have a feeling the nurse will want me back on meds but I’m going to ask to be given a chance to control it with diet first. I know I can do it, it’s just having the willpower. I’ve finally discovered why I have such struggles with life- I’m being assessed for autism. It would explain why I have such problems with food etc. My sensory issues are getting worse so that would probably explain why I’m just living on the same old rubbish. But… I cooked something new today! I’m dead proud of myself 😂
Today’s menu:
B: Turkey rasher and tomato sandwich (HEXB + 4 for spread) Skinny bar (3) Decaf coffee with HEXA 1
L: Fish sticks, tomato and garlic couscous (0.5) salad
2 x squares dark chocolate (7)
D- Tango chicken, wholewheat noodles, veg (free)
S: WW wrap with salad and Dairylea light slices (HEXA 2 plus 5.5)
Syns: 20

Morning all,
Sending love to you and your family today @bubbs xx
Good to see you back @Mrs_Ryan
Safe travels @joedenise x
That sounds like a big project @maman but will be so lovely when it's all done. How cool is that Lego house?!
DDad's CT scan went okay. I met my DSis there but she had a prior engagement in town afterwards so I dropped DDad back to her house. Took 1hr 45mins to do 8 miles due to a lorry fire on the M2 - @joedenise KIMS to Stockbury roundabout!! I then had to get back home and get fuel for the car as DH was leaving for Solihull at 6am today. Got home at 7.45pm. DH had cooked my LM sausages and baked me a sweet potato - was lush. Bath and early bed!
I've got a full day of WFH today which will be weird! I've been for a run this morning, so steps are already at a decent level yay!
Food today:
B - melon, strawberries, mullerlight vanilla - S, 0.5
L - WM soft pitta, grilled bacon, kiwi, banana - HEB, P, S, free
D - SC chilli con carne with rice - free
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 0.5 = 3.5 total

Morning all.
Thinking of you all today @bubbs - hope the day goes as well as it can.
Mostly black coffee @joedenise with one latte style one a day. Hope you can manage to get all the stuff sorted for going away and hope you have a good time wherever you end up!
I'm very envious of your kitchen plans @maman, you had me at "walk in larder" 😍 that's the dream!
Hope your dad's CT scan goes well @Coxy11
Welcome back @Mrs_Ryan, fingers crossed your diabetes nurse lets you see if you can manage without the medication for a bit longer.
Feeling very bloated and meh today and think it's just everything catching up with me. I am getting my hair cut this evening for the first time in a while so that will get rid of some weight anyway! Breakfast was a ff yogurt with some raspberries, lunch is another picky salad plate and dinner will be Korean soy bean paste stew with rice (we have so many courgettes and potatoes to use up!)
