Stuffed BNS looks delicious @bubbs but I've never tried it.
I was looking at marrows today. I know I like those but the onesI saw were enormous. I'll look for a smaller one or we'd be eating it for weeks. 🤣
I'm sure it was emotional getting your outfit but you did it. 🤗
Hope you get some progress at the hospital tomorrow. 🤞0 -
Morning all,
Hugs to you @bubbs - you're doing so well xx
I don't think I've ever eaten marrow @maman - do you stuff it aka Dierdre Barlow?
I went for a run this morning - it rained overnight so was quite fresh, and plenty of snails and slugs about. Planned a shorter distance of 3.5k and it felt good. I needed to colour my hair so did that once I got back. Taking DDad for micro-suction on his ears this morning at 10am and need to pop to the post office - it's all go.
The SC gammon was lovely. I roasted some carrots, a red onion, and some tenderstem broccoli. Also made cauli cheese for the men and save a few florets for me which I steamed.
Food today:
B - Weetabix choc melts, strawberries, blueberries, mullerlight vanilla - HEB, S, 0.5
L - JP, tuna, LTL mayo, crunchie salad, toms, pickles - 1.5, S
D - M&S BBQ chicken flatties x 2, tenderstem broccoli, carrots - 4, S
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3, plus 6 so 9 total
I'm in the office tomorrow and we are having a team lunch at Pizza Express. Need to check the app to see what the best option is as haven't eaten there for a while.

Morning all,
Hope you feel better today @beanielou, take it easy x You too @bubbs and hope you get on OK at the hospital x
I went completely off the rails last night and had wine, crisps and chocolate biscuits. I don't like biscuits and never eat them but was grabbing for anything. Work caused it but I didn't handle it well. If I'm to survive the next few months until I leave, I need to deal with work situations (the boss) better. She may be on holiday but she's still causing chaos.
I need to spend today and probably tomorrow fixing the mess from yesterday. I'm so annoyed at myself and know I need to just draw a line and get back on track but it's blooming hard as I'm still stressing. Sorry this is all a bit me, me, me.
Don't feel hungry in the slightest but have my standby breakfast of bran flakes, fruit and yoghurt and there's crustless veggie quiche for lunch. DS2 is taking care of dinner 🥰

Sounds grim @Jellybaby - take care of yourself and if the odd biscuit or glass of wine helps, then just do it!
Well I've only just eaten breakfast! Didn't get a chance before DDad's ear appointment and then he needed to get some bits in Boot$ afterwards. Nothing in his ears but the hearing aid is busted. They don't sell that model in the UK so we will spend the next 2 weeks shouting, using subtitles and fearing for his safety when out and about. I spoke to Stepmum who said "yes I know it's got a problem, he has spare aids here he should have packed" FGS, could not make it up.
Lunch may not happen now. Oh and to top it all TOTM has arrived

Afternoon all.
Sending you hugs @bubbs and hope everything goes ok with all the appointments you have over the next few days.
Also sending you hugs @Jellybaby - toxic work environments are just horrible. Hope the chaos calms down soon.
Hope you're not feeling too bruised and battered from your fall @beanielou
Thanks @maman - trying to focus on upping the fruit and veg where I can and my trousers are definitely feeling a little looser today.
Hope your dad doesn't cause you too much stress in the next couple of weeks with his impaired hearing @Coxy11. Must admit I did let out a little chuckle at him leaving the others at home, sounds like something my parents would do.
In the office today and don't know how I actually made it here. DH basically didn't sleep last night so I didn't sleep last night either. His manflu has mostly gone (as has mine) but he was having restless legs and just mind racing etc. Feeling very tired but powering through thanks to a couple of black coffees and will reward myself for being here with a little stop at Westfield on the way home to have a quick browse to see if there's anything else I want for my holiday.
Breakfast was shredded wheat with raspberries, lunch is a chicken salad and dinner tonight was going to be spag bol but instead I'm going to do cottage pie because I didn't plan very well (pasta 2 days running!) and the cold, grey, rainy weather is making me want something comforting.
Hope everyone is doing ok - back to work.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
