Morning all, well the day of the op has arrived and definitely feeling very apprehensive! Understatement of the year I think!!! Thanks for the good wishes.
Not sure whether I'll be able to see well enough to use the laptop afterwards - things will probably look a bit weird with only one eye to use for a couple of days! Will be sticking to plan though as really want to shift that pesky half pound and more over the next couple of weeks as we're meeting up with our boozy friends again the weekend after that and will definitely put weight back on again!
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - probably have something at the hospital so hopefully jacket with beans - no idea what if we get home in time though!
D - beef stew, mash - P; S; F (made the stew in the SC yesterday so just needs reheating)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - probably a couple of rum & ginger beers or G&Ts 5 or 6
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all.
Best of luck with the op today @joedenise and hope it all goes well and I'm sure having the cataract removed will help you on your way to that pesky 1/2 lb you need 😉
Well done on being nominated @bubbs you really are an inspiration, your food pics alone make people know that SW meals don't have to be boring.
16 days till we go @beanielou, not that I'm counting 🤣
Well whatever this bug is that DH brought home with him, it doesn't want to die. He started with a cold then a hacking cough. I had the cough and then yesterday afternoon the cold kicked in with a vengeance 😔 Ended up in bed at 8pm because I was so tired (also not helped by DH keeping me up the night before). Feeling a little better this morning but still congested and meh.
Had shredded wheat with raspberries for breakfast and for lunch I've just pulled out some carrot and coriander soup from the freezer (well I hope it's soup!) which I'll have with some chicken to pick on for some protein. Dinner is going to be some kimchi "fried" rice full of veggies that we need to use up and hopefully the kimchi will help clear my nose a little!
