    Morning everyone,

It's sunny here whoop! I'm off to see a friend for a coffee this morning. No cake shall pass my lips. I'm going to have breakfast before I go then a light lunch when I get back. We are taking FILs gift round en route to collect DDad from DSis. Will do spag bol when I get home as much prefer it that way, rather than SC'ing it.

    Food today:
    B - All Bran, mullerlight vanilla, blueberries, strawberries - HEB, 0.5, S
L - Chicken and veg risotto - 2.5 - this is a packet from Aldi BB 3/21 so hope it's okay!! Will put the other half in the fridge for tomorrow (if I survive....)
D - spaghetti bolognaise, parmesan - free, HEA
    HEA - milk
    Syns - 0.5, 2.5 plus hi fi bar 3 = 6 total

Morning all, sunny here too.  No plans to go out today although ay sit in the garden later with a coffee once the housework is done.

Enjoy the time with your friend and the coffee @Coxy11.  I'm another to prefer to cook spag bol fresh rather than in the SC.  I only really use mine for stews and often not even then as need to get it out of a cupboard in another room so often it's easier just to get the pressure out of a drawer in the kitchen and also cooks much quicker!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - burger and onions, sliced gherkins in a soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - roast lamb, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
    Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; couple of 0% gins 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I'm the opposite @joedenise and @Coxy11 . I always do my Bolognese in the SC. And I never eat it on the day I make it. I find the flavour deepens over time. I've portioned it up this morning for the freezer (4 meals) so we'll have some later in the week.

Any sun we had earlier has disappeared and a steady drizzle has set in .☹

Hope you managed to keep away from the cake with coffee @Coxy11. You said to check and I am! 😁

I've set my phone to remind me to have a drink every hour @Jellybaby. I have had some tea but also 4 large (390 ml, I checked! 😉) glasses of squash. I'll keep that up until dinner time. Any later and I'd be up half the night! 🤣

Not 100% sure if I'll have Yorkshires and horseradish but will account for them just in case. Today's a bit eggy but I really fancied an omelette.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, fried eggs, bacon (P), HEA milk
    L- Spanish omelette (S,F), ham (P), cucumber, beetroot (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), roast potatoes (F), many Speed veg (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1, horseradish 2.5, Yorkshires 1.5, weekend wine😁

    Evening all,

Gosh i am late today , been busy!

Well early hrs of this morning there was a drama, there is me looking my finest.......not at 12.45 am with firemen on my decking!
Neighbour across the rd picked up a fire.....or so he thought in the field behind us on his cctv, so he messaged next door so she rang fire brigade as obviously was concerned, taking into account we have gas tanks!

DH was watching a film and came in and said are you awake? Well i was then 🤣 told me fire engine outside, so i put my dressing gown on and go and look   she said to me i messaged you and rang you, i said well i was in bed asleep and my phone is on silent!

Anyway they were satisfied after climbing up my fence there was no fire!

    Oh the drama!!

Was a lovey morning got all my bedding dry just before it peeed it down and it's been a real miserable afternoon and evening.

    Food
soft pitta stuffed with bacon, mushroom and egg 1 syn sauce

tea i made a pork pie and cooked a chicken and had a picky plate

stawberries and ice cream , sauce 2 syns

That was quite a drama @bubbs but can't blame your neighbour being cautious with the risk of gas cylinders. Hope you got back off to sleep OK.

Unusual for you to have a picky tea on a Sunday but pork pie sounds yummy. 😋

I stopped at 5 glasses of squash. I reckoned about 2 litres plus about 5 mugs of tea was enough fluids for today. 😁

    Thank you for checking @maman!

No cake/pastries eaten at the cafe - my friend had a milky coffee and a slice of tiffin. I stuck to tea with skimmed milk. Risotto was surprising good and I shared with DH. He had crumbled feta on his as we had a little that needed using up.

MIL had bought a Victoria sponge and a chocolate fresh cream log. DH and FIL had a generous slice of each. Not me! I just had tea Also had squash with my spag bol whilst DH and DDad had wine.

    Feeling surprisingly good tonight 😊

    oooh firemen @bubbs ❤️
