    @bubbs great loss.
@Longwalker good idea to take a little time to relax SW and life in general.
I have had a couple of messy days and gained some.  I have bought new scales that show 1/4lb increments, I will see how they correlate to SW straight after WI Tuesday evening ( the only difference will be the black coffee I drink there.
B and L have been good, just eaten 2 Jaffa cakes (5 Syns) with a cup of tea (the lid was loose on box and they were going soft!)
Supper is to be S. mackerel and Prawn Salad and may try doing some SW type new potatoes in the Ninja air-fryer.
I hope everyone has a good weekend and the weather is better than the forecast suggests.

Wow @bubbs, that must be one of your best losses for a while! Very well done! 👏👏👏

1lb isn't dreadful @Coxy11 but I will promise to try to keep you on the straight and narrow this week. Planning is definitely key. 😊

I have the spaghetti Pomodoro in Zizzi. It's probably got some oil in it but otherwise OK and you can count the mozzarella as a HEA. (I don't understand why that counts but so many other cheeses don't 🤔☹️).

Hope you got your sausages @joedenise. I wish we had a butcher that sold SW friendly stuff. Years ago there was one who came to the SW group and took orders.

I'll have some SP meals @Longwalker and will definitely take your tip and up the fluids. And I don't just mean the wine! 🤣 Glad you had a good day out with your friend. You deserve some down time after the week you've had.

I've been treating myself today too. I had to go out to drive DD1 and some friends to a wedding so I stopped off on the way back. It's funny how you find things you like when just browsing. I bought a padded jacket. That was in a CS then a sleeveless summer dress but that was full price. Now I'm ready for all weathers. 😁

This afternoon I've made the pasta sauce for tonight and a portion for the freezer and I've got Bolognese sauce in the SC.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F), HEA 1 milk
L- JP (F), tuna (P), spring onions and pickles (S)
    D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P, S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns - weekend wine 😁

Managed to get to the butchers and bought 2 dozen low fat sausages.  Need to divide them up and get them in the freezer but can't do that until tomorrow as needed to order some vacuum rolls which will be coming before 1pm tomorrow - good old Amazon!

I've also made a huge pan of swede and carrot mash as had a swede in the fridge which was getting a bit wrinkled and plenty of carrots.  Got a kilo in a TGTG bag beginning of the week and another kilo yesterday.  Still have that kilo in there.

Looking forward to my steak and chips tonight!

    Hi all,

    woohoo! @bubbs
You’ll have that pound off next week @Coxy11
I lost a wee half pound this morning. Expected/wanted more but hey ho I will keep plodding. May join you this week on some Sp meals and upping fluid @maman

We’re having fake KFC for dinner tonight and have a gammon joint in the slow cooker for tomorrow.

    It's a loss @Jellybaby. They all count! 👍👏👏👏

I've had two large glasses of squash this afternoon so we're off to a good start! Do join me. 😊

Swede and carrot mash is so much easier batch cooked @joedenise. Unless you're catering for a large family, I don't think it's worth cooking it for one meal. It's good for topping a cottage pie for SP too. I've got just one portion left for tomorrow so I'll put swede on my shopping list.

Do you do your swede and carrot mash in a pan or in the SC @maman?  I wondered whether I could do it in the SC as it would be much cheaper although draining it might be a bit of a problem!  I had to get DH to drain the saucepan as I ended up having to use the pressure cooker base as my largest pan wasn't big enough!  Plenty of portions for the freezer although I'll keep some out to have with dinner tomorrow night.

I had a big glass of squash this afternoon too - a virgin mojito!  Very nice it was too.  Brought it back from France last month.

Now sitting down with a 0% G&T so can have 2 for 0.5 syns (2 x 25ml).  Have had a couple of higher than planned days so cutting back at bit!

Well as is the way when you live in the London suburbs, traffic can scupper your plans. DH picked me up from the hairdressers with the plan to go straight to Bluewater (mall). The M25 was solid so we decided to head for a garden centre for FILs gift.

Had a coffee (with skimmed milk) and lunch first. I chose a JP with baked beans and cheese and side salad. Scraped the coleslaw onto DH’s plate. The JP was huge and as a result I don’t fancy any dinner. DH had a ciabatta with chips so he too is stuffed. We are just having a small measured GnT before going to see Mission Impossible at 8pm.

Well done @Jellybaby all losses count.
Glad you had a fun day with your buddy @Longwalker

Will do the spag bol for tomorrow nights dinner when DDad is back with us for the week.
