Afternoon all.
Good to hear the meeting went well @bubbs and things are all planned
Hope you had a fab holiday @SingleSue and getting back on track is the main thing - that's sometimes the place where others fall down (myself included!)
That is great feedback @Coxy11 and hope the VR has favourable terms to it.
Hoping things start to calm down a little @Longwalker - don't know how you're coping with all the hosting duties!
Must have been inspired by you @maman as have had beetroot every day so far this week!
Off to the hygienist later (I hate the dentist in any form but needs must...) Had shredded wheat and raspberries for breakfast, lunch was the last of the gammon with a salad and dinner is veggie pasta bake with lots of green stuff from the garden (courgette, runner and french beans, peas) and some tenderstem broccoli that I found hiding in the fridge!

As expected it was a gain for me but less than expected! Just 0.5lb - was expecting more like 1.5lb so happy with that.
Well done @SingleSue and middle son; those aren't bad gains for a good holiday. I'm sure you'll shift it soon.

Hi everyone,
Being secret squirrel here in the office. No VR news yet. It's like they are sending one letter out an hour....very frustrating. Boss and her deputy have both been offered - boss doesn't want it but felt pressured into applying - could not make this stuff up!!
Food wise I've been sort of good - overnight oats with cherries and mullerlight, leftover chicken pasta for lunch and some grapes and melon still to eat - may take them home. I did buy a pack of choc wafers at lunchtime which have been scoffed - stress eating.
Well done to @SingleSue and son for not bad gains. You will have that off in no time. Same to @joedenise - that's titchy. I will be gaining @beanielou's 3lb this week - you can bet on it! Deserve to any way!
Glad you have things sorted @bubbs xx
DH is cooking massaman tin can curry tonight. He's going to Birmingham tomorrow until Friday night so I've booked to see Barbie! Need to find something pink as thems the rules.

In good news I got a phone call a little while ago with a date for my cataract operation of next Thursday morning so at least that will be over and done with before my holiday although won't be able to get new glasses until after I come back as needs to be left 6 weeks after the op.
The other eye will need doing at a later date but not sure how long they like to leave it between the two ops; although the NHS seem to be happy to do both eyes at the same time according to the bumph which they sent through although I've cancelled that appointment as the first outpatient appointment will be after I've actually had the op done!

Lots of news on here today. 😁
Much smaller gains than expected for @SingleSue and @joedenise. Much quicker to see off! 😁
I do hope your VR letter arrives PDQ @Coxy11. Hopefully it will put an end to the stress eating! 🤞
That's a very quick appointment for your eyes @joedenise. They don't do both together around here. Hard to know when the second appointment comes as waiting lists are anyone's guess at the moment.
It's always hard when you get close to target @maddiemay. When you do get there, should you want to keep access to the app and website, you only need to go to WI every 8 weeks and don't have to pay if you stay in the 6lb (3 above or below) range. I do that to keep me on track but it's not essential.
I think @bubbs eats even more beetroot than I do @ruby_eskimo. 🤣
I'm going to WI tomorrow. I need 1.5 lbs but not hopeful as don't feel any different. Fortunately I've not got much on at the moment so can keep plodding until I get there.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- LO chicken casserole (P, F, S), beetroot and pink onions (S)

Blimey Denise that is quick.
If I remember (& dont quote me) my mum had to wait at least 3 months between eyes.
Cocy~~Hope you got the news you wanted.
Single Sue~~glad that you had a good holiday.
Bubbs~~Glad that that's all organised.

Evening all
Thanks everyone, the thing we were having problems with was the wake , but a lady rang me back today, it's a little tea room that make all there on cakes😋 etc, cooks all its own hams etc, so we are booking her and i am taking Mum to some appointments Friday so we are going to see her to finalise it.
Boo to all the little gains, i wouldn't be surprised if i have another gain this week.
Denise good news about Cataracts, hubby had first one done in June 2nd in October but they called for him to go Sept but he couldn't as i had just had my carpel tunnel done.
DH went Physio today only it didn't happen , as he looked at his knee and felt it and said it's very bad, why did you leave as long? DH said typical man thing 😏 he has got to wait for x ray now.
Maman yes i eat tonnes of beetroot 😂
Coxy hope you got the details you wanted.
Food today
NO SWEETS!
picky plate
salt and pepper chicken, pitta hexa, bns chips , i made a sauce from yoghurt. (chicken looks like steak it was boneless thighs also was a bit peppery for me)
Oh i am meeting my friend tomorrow for a cheer up and see if we can get some bargains!
