Just a quickieGlad everything is being put in place @bubbs and who cares about a handful of sweets at times of high stress? We all need something to comfort us@coxy11, shame about the job, brilliant feedback though. Hope the package is goodExhaustion central here
Why did I think having wee Emma here the same time as the other two a good idea? lol. Oh I love her, so much fun, but so much energy and she never stops talking
So been kind of good since the Chinese - there were so many left overs that 3 ate again for lunch on Monday, Mr L ate again today and Ive a full carton of rice in the freezer. It was roast lamb on Monday and roast lamb again today with bubble and squeak and salad today so pretty good goingHowever the red wine was opened yesterday and I had 2 glasses ( suffered today cos its been so long since I had wine ) and I helped Emma eat a bag of M&M's whilst we were watching Barbie ( great film ladies )So I have walked my wee legs off the past two days to help even things out - HOPEFULLY. Weigh in tomorrow - time will tell0 -
We are back from holiday and have our first weigh in tomorrow morning. The scales were not pretty when we weighed at home when we got back but we have shifted a bit and they look a lot better, however, it will still be a gain tomorrow (today now!)
I'm not fussed though, we had a good holiday, enjoyed lots of lovely food and we were straight back on plan on our return. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Morning all, a lovely bright morning and no rain forecast for a change! Have a machine load of washing on so at least I can get that out on the line before going to group. It's going to take much longer than usual to get there as the main load is closed and need to go through quite narrow back roads to get into town and then out again to get off the Island! Probably going to take an extra 20-30 minutes depending on how heavy the traffic is. It was extemely busy last night around 5pm when we went to pick up the TGTG bag but hopefully it won't be quite as bad this morning with the schools being shut for the summer holidays now.
Glad the family meeting went well @bubbs and everything is finalised. I'm sure you had masses of syns available so wouldn't worry about the sweets and chocolate! You've still got a few days to stick to plan and low syns before your WI.
Don't think I've done enough damage limitation to get a loss so will have to continue paying for another few weeks yet!
Welcome home @SingleSue and well done on getting straight back on plan. A gain is expected after a holiday! It's how you deal with it that's the important thing and you have done the right thing.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - toasted cheese sandwich, salad - HEB; HEA2; S
D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 2; skinny whip 4
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning folks, sun shining, but not seen forecast.
@bubbs good news about the family meeting/ @Coxy11 what great feedback, I hope the terms offered for VR are what you need. @Longwalker I feel tired just reading about your days. @SingleSue sounds like a great holiday, you will be back on it very soon, good luck with the WI.
@ bubbs intend to try and make your burger recipe soon, but with turkey (no chicken available on order due today) @joedenise traffic problems so frustrating.

Back again, went off to have my fruit and yogurt.
1/2 pound gain last night, a relief as expected a full pound. Annoyed with myself as I am so close to target and have just 1 paid for week left. Are you able to stop paying as soon as you hit the weight recorded as target when signing up?
Very small meeting, I guess because school holidays have begun.
Tighter meal planning needed here I find it all too easy to drift off piste, then end up snacking. OH and I see to our own breakfasts and lunches and I organise supper, he always preps and cooks veg/salad since my arthritic hands became so painful, but I find the selecting/organising the ingredients etc so tedious, I have been doing it for 53 years and would love a personal chef LOL.
Have a good day all.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
@maddiemay - assume from what you've written that you are currently on a Countdown so if you hit target on your last paid for week the following week will be Free and you will no longer need to pay. However if you don't reach target on that last paid day then you continue paying until you reach target. The following week will be Free from then on as long as you remain in your target range of +/- 3lb of actual target.
Hope I've explained that OK!
I'm certain I'm in for a gain at WI this morning as had a boozy weekend with friends so expected. No plans this coming week so will be able to stick to plan properly and hope for a good loss next week!

Morning all,
Absolutely pouring down, feels more like October than July!
Glad your meeting went well @bubbs and I'm totally in awe that your meals still look absolutely amazing 😍
Great feedback @Coxy11 but agree timing may not be right anyway until you know what VR is being offered. I'm in local government and VR for me means I can't work for this particular Council again. Not a hardship as I don't want to work with these employers again or continue in this profession!
@Longwalker you're never off the stoat as we say here (you're always on the go)!
To those with small gains, you need to enjoy holiday time and you'll get it off next week. And to those WI today - good luck!
Apologies if I've missed anyone. DS2 is off to a wedding for two days so can please myself with dinners 😁
Today's food:
B - bran flakes (HEB), f/f Greek yoghurt, strawberries, raspberries
L - veggie omelette with pickles
D - spaghetti with tomato saucie (chucking in odds and ends to use up), Parmesan (HEX2)
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Not too bad, a gain of 3.5lbs, I'm actually happy with that, it could have been a whole lot worse as we didn't hold back and we were away for an extended period of time.
Middle son gained 3lbs.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD.
