Hi all,
Late night/early morning with friends. I had the chicken skewers which were served with bulgar wheat and a red onion and cucumber salad. Delicious. Had 2 diet cokes as was driving. The men made up for our lack of drinking. Hilarious to watch.
Haven't been so great today. Had fruit salad and yoghurt for breakfast with a couple of pain au chocs as friends stayed over and had to provide something... Had no eggs in so couldn't do cooked brekkie. Went to BIL and SILs earlier and had a small portion of his lasagne and half a JP with cheese, plus some salad. Only drank tea and resisted the tiger bread and butter!
I have a sore throat coming. DH reckons it's coz BFF and I talked non stop all night and this morning too. I hope he's right and it's not the start of something. Tea helping. Just finishing off prep for interview tomorrow and need to iron my outfit. Hoping DD will drop me there as we are due rain. Her driving will use up all my nerves!
Those YPs look really titchy compared to yours @bubbs. Like the value frozen ones I buy which are 1.5 syns!
No beetroot in our Aldi either @maman - have been looking for weeks. Don't want to pay for branded!
Glad you had a good time away @joedenise - agree that the seafood risotto sounds amazingly good.
Welcome @Doris17 - looking forward to getting to know you
Have a good evening everyone

Good luck for tomorrow @Coxy11. Hope the sore throat comes to nothing. You're right to think of it as interview experience. See it as research, you're analysing and appraising what they ask so you're in control. 👍
Those syn values look crazy @bubbs. I'm sure you'll be back to HM very soon.
Just draw that line @annabanana82. You'll soon get back into the plan. 😊
I'll believe the 3lbs when I see it @beanielou. 😉

@ annabanna82 - Sure its only 3lb, and as long as you know where it came from, it will shift again soon enough@coxy11 , good luck for tomorrow and fingers crossed the sore throat doesn't come to anythingDid I mention Im exhausted ? Even my watch has taken to sending me texts telling me I need to restSo the neice texts first thing - shes hanging, end of tour party, didnt get to bed, wants to know how to get from Dublin to Belfast - talk about last minute, so I send her the web page to book, her plane was due to land at 2.10 and she books the 3pm bus !!! Like forgot all about luggage reclaim and customs. So it all was a moot point as her flight was delayed, so I finally get to lift them at 6:30, one has a nasty chest infection, both completely hanging together, so food, shower and both in bed by nine, and Emma still raring to go lol. I just found a tv with a fire stick and put her to bed ( no airial in that room )Meal out was cancelled , a Chinese takeaway was lifted - I could hardly cook and drive and all thoughts of SW went out the window, I took what was on offer - a big plate full. Theres tonnes left so its not like I pigged out, but it was well over any allowed syns - I never even counted. I was starving. I had nothing all day, I had planned on a filled pitta only had picked up white ones so went without , yesterday was a big salad, I 6th of a pizza and a hard boiled egg and my bag of lentils during the dayI did manage to find time for a quick 2 mile walk, that clears my head and gives me peaceAnyways the good thing about being this tired is, Im not going to be drinking too much tonight. Knocked one into me when I got back to Belfast and another one followed in quick succession, and Im finishing this one and I have lovely pristine fresh sheets to climb into - love a fresh bed0

Morning all, looking very grey this morning. So glad I did the washing yesterday and got it out of the way. Was all washed, dried and put away within a few hours - dried within an hour or so each load so first load was dry by the time the second load was washed! Wish it was always like that.
Good luck for the interview @Coxy11 and hope your sore throat hasn't come to anything and is feeling better this morning.
That sounds like an exhausting time @Longwalker. Don't blame you getting a Chinese takeaway after your meal out was cancelled. Draw the line and start again.
Same for you @annabanana82 - draw the line and start again. You can lose that.
Can't believe how small those yorkies are @bubbs! Your's are miles bigger and lower syn and probably much nicer. I've never had a frozen yorkie so no idea if they are any good!
3lb @beanielou - like @maman I'll believe it when I see it. You never seem to put on what you expect and often even have a loss!
Added up my syns (including guesstimates of some things!) and think I've got about 15 syns left for today and tomorrow but will try to only have a couple each day in case I've underestimated (probably have!). So today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEB; HEA2
L - egg, chips, beans - P; F
D - beef stew with pearl barley (from freezer), mash - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0
