    Afternoon all.

    Well done Maddie 👏👏

Damn the scales Denise , grrrr!! Where you off to now?

Well sort of my progress, still no death certificate this morning when i rang the place, i can't think what it's called! but she booked the appointment for Friday 2.30 and an appointment at the funeral parlour on Monday afternoon.

We have provisionally got the 10th August 12 noon for funeral, as i said i was concerned as we only have a small window because of peoples holidays.

I have had a little sleep this afternoon as i am totally knackered as not sleeping well.

Longwalker that is quick, good luck later on the scales, go else you won't know where you are

We're only going about an hour away to Canterbury for the weekend.  Not seen our friends since about this time last year and generally we meet up at Canterbury 2 or 3 times a year but lots of other things have got in the way!  Really looking forward to it.

Glad you've got a bit of progress @bubbs and a provisional date for the funeral.

Don't blame you having a sleep this afternoon, it's not nice when you're not sleeping well.

It's always infuriating when you've stuck to plan and don't get a result @joedenise. It feels like you're being cheated. Don't blame you turning to drink tonight!🤣

I checked back to 2019 when I gained 7.5 lbs on holiday and it took me until September to get back into target. Last year I'd planned better and had 5 weeks left before going to WI. I suspect I'm in for a nasty shock tomorrow. What I can't understand is that I'm feeling really fat and bloated although I've been back on plan for almost a fortnight. I'd have thought I'd feel a little bit thinner. 🤔

That's a small step in the right direction @bubbs. 👍🏼 Good for you, catching up on sleep. You wouldn't have been able to do that if you'd have had to pick up your DH. Hope he's coping OK with having to rush around with his health issues.

Your dinner sounds delicious @Jellybaby. We've had ours early tonight as DH had to go out.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- Tom Kerridge's bacon and broccoli pasta (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

Here we go 😋 I picked this pek chicken up to try as it was free, it's OK but don't think I'd buy again

I'm not keen on the Pek ham either @bubbs so only ever bought it once!

I'm sure things won't be as bad as you think @maman, it's the not knowing that's the worst thing.  Good luck for WI tomorrow.

The rice pudding was nice but not as good as when made with almond milk, it was a bit watery and didn't really taste of coconut.  Only used it because I needed it the other day for my pineapple whip from the PON Enjoy book.  Won't be making that again either!  It was OK but quite honestly I'd rather just eat the fresh pineapple and not having to syn it because it was whizzed up!
