I read WI as Weigh In @Coxy11 and wondered why you'd go for an extra taster session! 🤣

Well done on the exercise @ruby_eskimo and @beanielou. 👍 I went dancing for the first time in a month on Saturday. I coped better than I expected although a bit breathless at times.

I've never heard of booking a parking space at a SM @joedenise. Good idea though.

I had fairly low syn lunch at a country pub. We had a lovely window table and loads of the NF ponies and cows were outside, really enjoyed watching the foals especially. I had pork with peaches, new potatoes and green beans so quite a good choice. I had tea when others were having puddings so, even with the glass of wine, it wouldn't have used up the 50+ syns I have left. I had a SW breakfast and unlikely to want anything else today.

Unfortunately, I'm feeling really fat so not looking forward to WI on Thursday. ☹️

The SM allows parking for up to 3 hours but I knew I needed longer than that and they are signed up to YourParkingSpace.  I've booked a space there a couple of times and it's only a few minutes walk to the station which unfortunately is uphill!  But at least it's downhill if you've done any shopping!  Was very good today and didn't actually buy very much, just a top in a CS for £3.

Had a halloumi and roasted vegetable salad for lunch which was very tasty - just didn't fancy a jacket potato.  No idea of syns but don't think it would have been over for today and I haven't had any others.

Your lunch sounds lovely @maman.  Definitely sounds as though you had plenty of syns available.  Good luck with WI on Thursday.

I jumped on my scales this morning and it's actually showing a gain and I've definitely been under syns every day.  Yesterday was the highest at 12.5!  Will just have to see what the SW ones say tomorrow.  🤞 for WI in the morning.

Glad you enjoyed the doughnuts @bubbs and even better that you have got straight back to healthy eating today. 👍

Are you taking your mum to register the death so you need the parking space for her? 🤔 Is it the home you're waiting to hear from before you can do it? Just curious as it's not something I've ever done as my brother dealt with it for both my parents as he lives close by and I don't. How is your mum? 🤔 It's such a difficult time. 🤗

    Yes taking Mum.

No i rang up to book it yesterday you can't do it till the doctor they certified the death sends the forms and they hadn't received them at there local one could i ring back later, as it was weekend they should have  it in the afternoon, so i rang back and still no.
So then she asked where he passed away so i told her , she said i would have to ring here, so i rang here they had nothing, so they said ring the home, so i rang them , they said i need to ring the surgery 😡 rang them they said either today or tomorrow .

You just don't need all this on top of everything, we really need to get the funeral booked as we have a small window because my niece is away, then my sister goes away

Mum is worse today 😫 but i think it's reality setting in now, but she had an hair appointment this morning, so had her hair done as she comes to the house

First WI for two weeks today, after a holiday with some nice and high Syn meals out, coffees etc. Delighted to get a one pound loss this evening, only a wee bit to go until I reach goal, but always seems to be the last small amounts that are the most difficult.

@bubbs I hope that you are able to start the formalities soon.

I broke a capped tooth today, fortunately the dentist's offered me an appointment at 08:30 tomorrow to look at it, makes all those expensive dental insurance payments worth it.

@joedenise will keep my fingers crossed for your WI. @maman OH and I spent many holidays and weekends camping in the New Forrest during our time in W. Dorset, such great times.

Grocery delivery tomorrow and lots of food in freezer and stores, a session meal planning is imperative.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)

Well done on your loss @maddiemay. 👏👏👏 Amazing achievement after a holiday.

You're so right that it's those last few pounds are always the hardest and slowest to lose. ☹️

Hope you get some progress tomorrow @bubbs. 🤞

@bubbs, such a runaround, not very friendly and helpful is it?

We are lucky here, we are buried on the 3rd day and David the undertaker is brilliant at doing all the organising  ( there are others but David is the one used about here ) When step dad died on the Boxing Day night, David was here with us at 9am, sorting out what mum wanted, and talking us through how things were done. He lifted the death certificate when he collected SD and that was all we had to do, register the death, David sorted out everything else, even found us a minister to make the journey to Belfast with us ( the only crematoria in NI )  Most people have their loved ones home for the two nights wake, but we had a private house and SD went to the funeral parlour and he was ready for us the same afternoon. A good funeral director is worth their weight in gold. He will see to mum and his son and daughter will see to us when its our time

Been having one of my on off weeks with SW. Ive been good when I have eaten, which hasn't been often but it is what it is. Weigh in tonight. Im of a mind not to go cos Ive made such a big deal in my head about that 1/2lb and Im going to be mad if I dont get it. Ive not weighed myself at all this week so not to get myself so worked up

Yes Im mad :) I have an obsessive personality, I obsess and this week I have worked really hard on taking of the fit watch and not walking morning noon and night , took 2 nights off and sat in the hot tub :) I polished the scales and covered with a towel so I dont step on them every time I hit the shower.

I found another thing I liked to eat that was quick and easy for a work day lunch when Im grabbing a bite between customers - microwave lentils. Look god awful but taste really nice and of course slow energy release so kept me full all day

I tried courgetti. Well I was going to but then couldn't find the spiraliser - think I put it out for charity, so I took thin slices using the peeler - strips instead of spirals - and I wasnt fussed Ate them but I wouldn't rush back to them. I had made myself a huge pot of what Id have called Egyptian Moussaka when I made it back in my poor house days. A scant handful of mince, piles of aubergines, peppers, onions garlic and potatoes , all fried and then mixed together with tinned tomatoes and spices and stewed for hours. Obviously I did SW, air fried the aubergines and peppers ( you need the char for the flavour) swapped the potatoes for chestnut mushrooms and cos I had it there, added a bag of spinach. So it was different but oh so good. Back in the poor house days it would have cost about £2 to make and last a week, eaten scooped up with flat bread, hot or cold. I miss the flat bread and scooping. I miss a lot of foods because of the bread. in my poor house days I ate lots of foods like the moussaka, another one I loved was foul - and it smelt foul. But it was like a dhal , Fava beans, cooked and mashed with loads of garlic, covered in oil and scooped up with bread :)  And those are the foods I still love and prefer, comforting, flavoursome

Afternoon all, not a happy bunny!  Even though I had a really good week I only managed STS - I know it's not a gain but very frustrating all the same - so I had to pay.  Not likely to lose it this week as I'm away in the motorhome and meeting up with friends so that will involve plenty of drinking and eating out!  It is what it is so will have to pay for another few weeks.

Do hope you manage to get things sorted out @bubbs; it's ridiculous the amount of time you've already spent trying to find out about the death certificate.  It's a hard enough time without the added hassle.

Well done @maddiemay - that's a brilliant loss after your holiday.

    Today's plan:

    B - fruit and yoghurt - S; F
    L - seafood stick sandwich - HEB; F; 1
    D - Fakeaway KFC - P; S; F; followed by rice pudding

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - 400ml unsweetened coconut drink
    HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 1; couple of G&Ts 6 (real ones instead of my usual weekday 0% ones!)

    Have a good day everyone.
