Nothing much to report on the money front DH car cost £450 so we have pretty much cleared out the car account only £35 left in there, I need discs and also 2 tyres in the next couple of months so will need to add money to pot on pay day.
been to visit the new house yesterday and spent over an hour there, the people selling are lovely and very honest about any issues like the extractor fan not working, I probably wouldn’t use it anyway as have 2 ninjas and use them for almost everything.I couldn’t sleep last night though my mind was full of plans for each room and I couldn’t switch off, todays going to be a tough one to get through at work on 4 hours if broken sleep 😴

We were lucky we had a big chunk of equity from our old house but still managed to overspend, hence the debt now lol. I was very impatient though and wanted it all done there and then whereas in hindsight I should have slowed down and thought, we don't have to have 2 bathrooms straight away, we don't need to living rooms, but hey its done now.

Yes I really must resist the urge to go full steam ahead on every room and end up having to use credit to finish it, so we must be very strict with what we decide to do and what we can make do with for now, I think the priority rooms will be the kids bedrooms, the lounge/diner and the hall, we can leave the bathroom it’s nice anyway, kitchen needs a couple of things nothing to major, and our bedroom we can make do, we are having the 4th bedroom as a dressing room and again we can make do with what we have for now.
have put £80 to the house savings today, still have £1991 on cc but just letting that tick by for now, pay day is 12 days and counting hahaPay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest

I don't believe their is anything you can do to fix it. I understand they are looking in to it, so we will just have to wait.

I've never used notifications. I just bookmark the threads I want to read & then look at them under quick links.
