DD been at work with me today she has been a great use had her on dead filing, shredding tea making hoovering etc, will think of some more jobs for when she comes in next week for a day, breaks up the week for her, she has college taster day Friday, interview Thursday and I’m off this weekend and we are going to visit other DD, not heard on any other job applications yet.

feeling a bit hyped for the move but also a bit sad, I wonder if while I’m at my parents I will long to come home? I hope this has been the right decision, I’ll miss this house and all the happy times we have had here raising our children 👦 🧒👧 I have to admit I have shed a few tears tonight xx

Baby dog (she’s 2 but she’s my baby) is going in to be spayed on Thursday at least there will be plenty of people to look after her

    good night all

Well after a very very long and busy day we are in at my parents house, still have a few bits left at our house and need to clean and garden tomorrow so it’s nice and ready for the buyer on Friday 🤞

DH car needs new discs and pads luckily my Dad can fit these but still cost a total of £198 today, more than I was expecting as usual

received the searches on our purchase today along with the fixtures and fittings forms etc so my solicitors just raised enquiries and awaits our mortgage offer, had to send a letter to lender today about DH employment as he works longer hours through spring and summer to autumn and winter hopefully we will be passed through soon to the offer once this letter has been reviewed, mortgage advisor said all looks ok on the valuation side of things so that’s good news!

hope I sleep tonight feels odd like I’m on holiday haha

  • Wow, are you still on track to complete tomorrow? My solicitor raised a whole bunch of queries when the searches came back and we ended up taking another 4 months after that, although admittedly this was the longest its ever taken to complete on a purchase. First house took 4 weeks, this last one took 7 months.
I'm full of doom and gloom here, we also moved in with my parents for 3 months while we renovated the house, it was the worst 3 moths of my life,, I felt like a teenager again, where you going, what time you home, why haven't you had breakfast lol. On the other hand, the dog loved it as she was never on her own.

Morning, yeah hoping for tomorrow for completion but no exchange as yet, the enquiries stage is just the worst stage it’s so frustrating waiting for the solicitor to raise them and the other one to answer and back and forth, I’ve asked for only absolutely essential enquiries but we shall see x

    Good evening, what a day!

Completion has taken place on my sale 🎊🎉 so we are temporarily no longer home owners!

Have moved the sale money into a savings account giving us the deposit money, the money to pay for solicitors on the purchase and £10600 left towards new house renovations, we will be adding to this in the months in the lead up to us moving in.

a while ago my Mam gave us some money which I have kept to one side incase we ended up renting out our house and needed it towards additional stamp duty, now we have completed we don’t need this as
much so I have today paid £2747 off CC2 which now means this is clear, and so the only debt we now have is £2017 to CC3 and this is what we will also be concentrating on paying off during this time as Mams.

Pay day today and have transferred £1461 to the holiday account for spending money and £50 to Christmas savings, hopefully will be a bit more for holidays but have left our bills account fully funded as I am sure all our bills will still come out and then some will be refunded so will see what happens on 1st.

have a good evening off to watch so tele and try and chill x
