Club Lloyds: Disney+ New Lifestyle benefit

If I'm not currently subscribed to Disney, how does this work?I was going to sign up for an account, but they wanted payment details - which I presume would kick off the subscription once fully signed up? I assume they also request name, address DOB as part of the process?Any new Disney users taking advantage of this benefit? What / how was the sign up process?0

No payment details needed. Lloyds give you an activation link to the Disney site. Creating the Disney+ account needs just email and password and you're done. Refreshingly simple! It took about a month for the Lloyds email to arrive after I opened the account.
Having looked through the Disney+ offerings I think they need to rename the product LucasMarvel+ or maybe StarWarsMarvel+.1 -
Thanks for confirming! And yes, I tend to agree they should look at rebranding!0

Sorry to jump on this thread, but does anyone know if the benefit can be withdrawn, please? I'm scheduled to receive my 'activation email' for this benefit by next week, but I'm having issues with Lloyds around downgrading from Silver Club to Club and may close my account if this isn't sorted out, but I wanted to see if I could get the benefit first!0

Hello, I have just opened a new Club Lloyds account and started a switch to get the £150 incentive, and have a question about this benefit. Do you get a new link / code every month? I just this past week used a Clubcard code to get 3 months of disney+, so I'm wondering what is likely to happen.
I don't get the lloyds benefit until 29th July so do I just hold onto the link/code sent then until the 3 months from tesco are up? Or do they send you a new link/code every month so I use the most recent one sent when the Tesco code ends? I'd like to keep our existing Disney account as the kids have lots of favourites saved.
Thanks!0 -

One link for the first year. Whether or not you need to click a fresh link every year, I'm not sure, but it definitely isn't month to month.

Yeah, the Disney Plus benefit is activated once and lasts a year. It's not clear whether there will be the chance to get subsequent years as a Lloyds benefit. If you are already a D+ subscriber you can terminate that agreement and have the free year from Lloyds. They give details of how to do this when you activate the benefit.2

You’re signed up for Disney+ through Lloyds. We noticed that you already have a Disney+ subscription associated with this email address. We have paused that subscription and it will resume when your Lloyds subscription period ends. You do not need to take any action.
No need to mess with the kids favourites1 -
Fantastic, thanks! Wow I’m pleasantly surprised that Disney are clued up enough for that and don’t make us do the leg work.
Yep it’s definitely the kids who can’t wait for the next new Bluey episodes in mid July… not me at all…0
