When I selected Disney+ for my upcoming years' benefit, it didn't ask me for an email address, so I assume it will just send the activation link to my registered Club Lloyds email? When I click through that link, do I need to create or have an existing account with Disney+ that matches that from Lloyds?Or will I be able to use my existing Disney+ which has a different email address?I suppose another way to look at it is if the benefit can be activated on someone else's account should you wish to gift it?0

I didn't receive any email when my benefit became active. I visited the clublloyds website, reset my password and then gained access to the activation link from there.

Thank you both for replying.Just wondered if the activation link / process expects you to log in to an account or create an account with an email which matches Lloyds.0

My recollection is hazy because it was more than a day ago but I think the referral link had a magic code in it so you can use any email and password you like and it is linked to the Lloyds account. I believe that the benefit will be removed if the Lloyds account is closed or downgraded so they must have an ongoing interaction with Disney (or they might just be bluffing).
I'm interested to see if it stays as a benefit after a year or whether it will fall off the list and be replaced by something else. I have a friend who has opened an account purely for this benefit because it saves him a fiver a month on his D+ subs after paying the £3 account fee. I'm trying to persuade him to cycle 2k through the Lloyds account each month to save £3 more but he's not keen.2 -
That makes sense boingy - use whatever email but linked back to originating Lloyds account.I wonder if there's a time limit to activate the benefit? I'm undecided and also won't be able to make use of it at the moment.Wonder if it's 12 months from activation, or more likely, you'll just get whatever's remaining if say you activated later on?0

It's linked to the start/anniversary date of your Club ac. I hadn't taken up the lifestyle offer after rekindling my Club ac for the switch incentive and reg savers - but when I realised I could get D+ i've just requested that. It runs out in October for me, but I get to re-start it at that point (end of Sept AIUI).0

Just want to rekindle this thread to ask a question, have had Club Lloyd's for years and the benefits IMO have always been pretty terrible, but i've just got my activation email for the disney+ benefit. Only problem is when I click the link and try to sign up, it asks for payment details and I can't proceed any further. Anyone have any ideas?0

Of no help, but I just followed the link in the e-mail from Lloyds. A valid e-mail was required to set up the account and there's definitely no payment method registered. It's also necessary to set up a password and access P.I.N. which I am occasionally asked for.
