I’m thinking of switching to CL, but have just renewed our Disney+ sub.1 -

I’m thinking of switching to CL, but have just renewed our Disney+ sub.0 -

So I'd expect yours to rollover.
Didn't the email saying your renewal was due tell you what would happen if you didn't make a new choice?0 -

I still think it would be worth checking the email. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I seem to remember I got Cineworld tickets and when it changed to Vue they simply sent those instead automatically. My email last year said:-"If you fancy a change, simply choose a different benefit from the list below before 03/11/2022. On the other hand, if you'd like to keep the same benefit, there's nothing you need to do - we'll renew it automatically."
Of course that doesn't work if film hire isn't an option.
Found my 2020 email. It said:-
"From 1 May 2020, Cineworld tickets are no longer available. If you have Cineworld as your current cinema choice and don’t select something different, then we’ll send you tickets for the closest cinema to you, based on the postcode you have on your account."
It would be safest for the poster to simply make a new choice.......

"You haven’t taken full advantage of your Club Lloyds account in the last year, so please do enjoy a new Lifestyle Benefit and choose what you’d like to receive for the year ahead."
and asked me to select one. Obviously Rakuten wasn't an option so ended up selecting Disney. Made no mention of what would happen if I didn't make a new choice.

Result!
We already had a Disney+ annual membership that started in March. Need to select our new Club Lloyds perk by mid June, so I just messaged Disney+ to see if I could get a refund on the money we’ve already paid, with a view to using the free perk if possible. I expected them to say ‘no’ but they did it - pro rata refund of £65 heading my way. Cancellation had to be immediate - couldn’t set it up for the end of the month - so my daughter (19!) will have to be ‘Disney-less’ for a couple of weeks. She’ll have to cope! I didn’t think Disney offered refunds so I didn’t want to let the opportunity pass. Very happy!2 -
Just a quick update on my old post about downgrading your account to get rid of old benefit and then upgrading to get Disney+
It worked1 -

I also discovered it was possible to hold 2 (possibly more if you have more Lloyds current accounts) sole CL current accounts (not permitted under Ts&Cs) by downgrading all your accounts to classic accounts then upgrading both in quick succession to CL, therefore allowing you to receive 2 CL lifestyle benefits simultaneously. They wouldn't let me open a third current account with them though since they had already decided to terminate their relationship with me. Their systems only allow you to hold 1 CL monthly saver at any one time though.
I would certainly refrain from doing this if I were you though since I can't imagine they would take too kindly to it. I only did this experiment because they had told me they were closing all my accounts and barring me for life so I had nothing to lose really.2 -
OK, thanks @Bridlington11
