I didn't receive a Rakuten code for April and not received today, 1st of May. They usually arrive automatically on the 1st of the month. I have contacted CL enquires about this and suggest they move me to the Disney + which is a far better option than the terrible "Ratuken". I expect they will turn my request down and I may then go down the degrade-upgrade account route some have mentioned on this thread..
I can't remember if I received codes in the last few months, gave up even checking the Rakuten site for something worth watching - even for free.

Just trying to work out the optimum timing to upgrade back to Club so that the new Disney+ benefit will kick in exactly when my Tesco-derived sub expires on 30 June.
I received a code this afternoon.

The trick with Rakuten is not to follow the link in the email but go to its main site directly. There's an option to redeem a code in the rental dialogue box. The selection you're given via the link appears to be of older films.

Can someone please clarify how this all works? I signed up on the 9th April and chose Disney+ as my lifestyle benefit. I appreciate it was only available from the 1st May so I wasn't fussed. Apart from the account activation email I have recieved no communication.

I called up today to ask for the email to be sent and she insisted I have to wait 30 days before I can use ANY benefit. Is this correct? I explained that the 30 days is a cooling off period to change my mind, but my understanding was that I can use the benefit straight away (or in this instance the 1st May). Again she insisted I had to wait 30 days for the email. In fact she told me the email would be sent on the 11th May which is more than 30 days.

Yes this is correct. From the Lloyds website~

How and when will I receive my chosen Lifestyle Benefit?

Your Lifestyle Benefit will be sent to you after the 30-day selection period. After this 30-day period has ended, we aim to dispatch as follows:

    • Your Disney+ activation link will be issued within 2 working days

I have just noticed that the Terms and Conditions apparently changed last month (https://www.clublloyds.com/utility/terms.aspx ) too. This one has called my attention:

"In order to reselect a Lifestyle Benefit at renewal, you must have made at least two payments in or out of your account every month."

, since AFAICT it's a brand-new requirement (and it would not catch people's attention until April 2024).

Would you consider the £2K coming in, and immediately out, to avoid the £3 monthly fee, "two payments in or out"? It's not "two payments in" and it's not "two payments out", so it's not "two payments in or two payments out".

Thanks for pointing that out. I think to be safe I'll send the £2k monthly payment in back out again in two lots of£1k, instead of 1x£2k - just to be safe
