Appeared on the Lloyds Bank website, although now closed my Club Lloyds.0

Shot myself in the foot with this. I changed to a Classic account only last month. The only "benefit" I found useful was the Rakuten but never used it because of the poor selection of stuff to use the code for. Also there are better places to deposit funds for more interest. And, of course, my new "benefit" choice was due in May which would have worked out just right.0

I wondered if it would "upset" Lloyds by changing account types in such a short time period?I might try next month. However, without going into details, I'm non too happy with Disney's "behaviour" over the past three years.0

I'm hoping it is possible to downgrade your account, get rid of current benefit "rakuten trash" then Upgrade to club Lloyds again for the new Disney+ benefit.
I have read the terms and conditions and don't see anything that says you can't. Closest thing I could see was you can only have one lifestyle benefit per account for 12 months. So perhaps downgrading then upgrading is basically the same account so it's a no0 -

Your CL monthly saver will be unaffected - the only requirement is to hold a qualifying CL account at the time of opening the saver, not for the duration you hold the saver. As for the monthly benefits, I recall that when I downgraded my existing rewards were voided and then when I re-upgraded I was asked to select them again. They then ran for 12 months from the re-upgrade date. I suspect they might catch on if you do it repeatedly, but doubt they'd care too much for a one-off.

Just had a call with somebody at Lloyds.Refused to acknowledge that I had been misadvised.Denied knowledge of any official source which stated a start date of April 1st.I pointed them to this page: https://www.lloydsbankinggroup.com/media/press-releases/2023/lloyds-bank-2023/disney-plus-joins-club-lloyds-lifestyle-benefits.htmlThen said that's a press release which they can't take back.... yeah, OK...I asked them again to agree whether or not I was misadvised and they repeated the assertion that it was not misinformation...Really steadfastly refused to budge on the complaint until I said 'just issue a deadlock letter in that case' at which point it was "escalated to a complaints manager".Really quite poor from Lloyds, not at all what I expect. They also repeatedly told me it'd be 12 months from the 1st of May and that my renewal would occur from that date onwards - which I'm pretty sure is not true based on all the literature available which suggests it always renews on account anniversary and any "late choice" partial years are pro-rata'd.1
