Anyone know if you can gift the Disney+ subscription to someone else? I have yet to receive it so don't know how it works...0

This one has called my attention:"In order to reselect a Lifestyle Benefit at renewal, you must have made at least two payments in or out of your account every month.", since AFAICT it's a brand-new requirement (and it would not catch people's attention until April 2024).Would you consider the £2K coming in, and immediately out, to avoid the £3 monthly fee, "two payments in or out"? It's not "two payments in" and it's not "two payments out", so it's not "two payments in or two payments out".The page you are looking for has not been found. Then internally transfer £400 to CLMS
Then internally transfer £250 to MS
Then externally transfer £1,900 to RBS (part of a kind of loop)
This would fulfil the requirement to make at least two payments in or out of my account every month, right? If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

There's nothing obvious to stop you sending the activation code to someone else. Whether Lloyds or Disney could find out and whether they'd care I can't tell you.

This would fulfil the requirement to make at least two payments in or out of my account every month, right?I'm not a lawyer (or even a native English speaker!), but IMHO it's poorly written.Let's start with "payments", what's a "payment"?Is anything using "Faster Payment" a payment? ProbablyLloyds usually uses "transfer", not "payment", to refer to payments between Lloyds accounts. At some point in the T&C it uses the term "electronic payment transfers", though. So, is a "transfer" a "payment"?Then you have the "two payments in or out" thing. Which, to me, it seems to be a requirement met by a single £2K Faster Payment in and a single £2K Faster Payment out. But, why would they add such a new requirement? You add that "minimum amount of X operations" type of requirements to stop people from having the account just to get Disney+... but the people doing that were already doing the £2K in/out thing to avoid the £3/month fee. So the requirement adds nothing useful for Lloyds. Had they put a "use the direct debit card 5 times a month" requirement, that would have made more sense. So, maybe Lloyds doesn't think "a single £2K Faster Payment in and a single £2K Faster Payment out" meets the requirement. But, if so, they could have written it down in a more clear way. And, finally, "every month". Really? So if you ever fail to do it once, in a single month, you can never again get a Lifestyle Benefit?Had they written "every month in the previous 12 months", it would have made more sense. So I don't know for sure whether Lloyds thinks your list fulfils the requirement. I'm not even sure Lloyds knows what Lloyds thinks.1 -
oooh, this is really good to know. Wish they did it for Applie+ too!

Are we allowed to open a second CL account (in branch / not possible online afaik) and choose a different (or the same) benefit?
I'm considering doing this at a nearby branch, as only recently opened one through the £200 Silver Account switch offer, downgrading to CL after receiving the £200, and choosing the 6 cinema tickets benefit (no 12m Disney+ on offer then, but will choose it with a second CL account if possible).0 -
