At the moment asked for amicable settlement. Last option is court as we also know it’s not easy though had a better thought as this is UK, a developed country but understood from the posts that courts all over the world are for namesake .But we will make sure that the first guys are not walking completely free after putting us in this position.tightauldgit said:
Then what exactly are you thinking of? Court is the process by which such disputes are resolved if the contractor isn't willing to accept your complaint and rectify it.I’m not thinking abt court0 -
They definitely will be walking completely free after this. Whether they are couple of grand shorter in their wallet is another story.Dewdrops1420 said:

Not really. It suggests to me that you might have a dripping/leaking hose on that reel. The water looks like it emanates from it and then has migrated along the patio. That water is far too fresh to have been out in sunlight for two days.Dewdrops1420 said:
This is how my patio looks after continuous sunlight for two days.Does this not prove that we require an immediate fix and the trader is at fault?tightauldgit said:

Not being a patio builder I have no idea what it might suggest, but the photo on its own proves very little.Dewdrops1420 said:

How that relates to how you intend to stop them walking completely free I have no idea.

Whether or not the photo supports a claim of poor workmanship and/or materials is one thing, but it clearly doesn't prove that you need an immediate fix! And no, I'm not suggesting that you let the matter drop, etc, but simply pointing out again that it's best to have realistic expectations about your rights....Dewdrops1420 said:This is how my patio looks after continuous sunlight for two days.Does this not prove that we require an immediate fix and the trader is at fault?1 -

It’s not that hose is leaking as I have not used it for a long time and it’s usually where it is. Just a resting place , so I know that I should take away before taking pics. Thanks!!Aylesbury_Duck said:

your lines suggest that you are the landscaper?0 -
What that photo shows me, is that the difference between the colour of the new and older slabs is nothing worth getting upset over, or spending money to rectify. In time, the new slabs will fade and the colour difference will become less and less.2

your lines suggest that you are the landscaper? You don't have to have used the hose for that and the tap to have a leak. I also agree it looks like a leak.I believe @Aylesbury_Duck fits in his landscaping work around his various jobs at Tesco, Argos, Royal Mail and Aldi.
