Shame I only have a 60A main fuse, so will be limited to around 14kW max load.

Just back from a 65 mile blat round the Cambrian mountains in sport mode, as I'd filled the car to 100% on the last plunge. Tomorrow will probably get me back close to 100% again, so probably another evening jaunt, tomorrow, if it is a Sunday plunge.

Turned on the spare freezer to help our neighbour who is expecting a new one on Monday. We're also going to mow her very long grass. Someone has borrowed her mower and not returned it after 3 weeks, plus she has health issues so we think we can get our mower round there with an extension lead.

Think someone on octopus facebook group managed to blow their main incoming fuse last weekend so do be careful!

I've brought forward the weekend's grocery delivery to tomorrow morning so that I can have my roast early instead of Sunday, and it looks like another round of batch cooking is in order too.

All these plunges are starting to give me a warped sense of how much Agile is going to be costing me long term though I fear, lol.

I wish the weather forecasting was as accurate as the plunge pricing people cos when we have plunge can almost guarantee the sun is out and half the time the weather forecast says cloudy. Great thing about avoiding the peak period is it stops you slumping down in front of the TV. If Agile really gets taken up by the populace, I guess the peak period will become wider but lower priced as people shift usage. Might buy an electric motorcycle if this carries on!

Pah! Lost most of the first half hour of plunge because, having nipped out to the builders merchant and got home at 10:29, the car decided it didn't want to charge, for the first time since I've had it. I eventually employed the disconnect the 12V battery trick and it started charging normally. Lucky it wasn't in the 12p+ half-hour.

Well that was fun, I've ended up on -£1.48 for my current usage, pulled a total of 31.62kWh between 12:30pm and 4pm, 23.73 of that was between 1pm and 3pm whilst I was charging the car and had all my electric heaters running, dishwasher, washing machine and heat pump tumble dryer 😂

Back to gas CH for the evening now if it cools down at all!
