Octopus Agile

We've been with Octopus, on Agile, since June
Despite multiple chasings, we haven't had a statement or bill since the end of October, and erratic billings up until then as well
By now, our account is around £185 in credit, so I've delayed our next DD of £70 the maximum length of time. Rather have the money in my bank than theirs
Anyone else have a similar experience?0 -
I get a correct bill every month. I've reduced my DD payment to £10, which should wipe out my credit by the spring. With luck, I'll have solar, batteries and a heat pump, so will have to adjust to the new regime, then.0

I'm exactly in the same place, switched 1st Nov, my last bill was 25th October - so haven't seen a bill yet.pritchah said:We've been with Octopus, on Agile, since June

I've been topping up my account monthly according to usage shown on Octopus Compare app, as don't want to be surprised - also no idea about when the bill will come.1 -

Looks like a lot of cheap days before Xmas - warm, windy..0 -
I am wondering if Octopus have some general billing issues the last week or two as my bill that was due on 10th Dec has still not been issued (although I can see a holding transaction for the gas part). For electric I was on Agile for part of the month and then tracker as I switched during that month.Newbie_John said:

Confusing hours, cheap at 3:30, 8:00, 12:00.. not sure when to do washing

But cheapest day hours in a long while - 23°C tomorrow at home 😅0 -
Do these tariffs include gas as well?0
-
As above, no, and that's because the spot price of gas only changes once a day (except weekends, when it stays the same) primarily because it can be stored. Electricity has day-ahead pricing for 30-min slots and can't be stored in a meaningful amount, and Agile makes use of those prices.Krakkkers said:Do these tariffs include gas as well?
Whereas Tracker takes an average of the 30-min day-ahead electricity pricing, and the single gas price.1
