Getting a little nervous about making use of plunge pricing days as they don't seem to be showing full 1/2hr slots for my higher usage days , other days ok but the 8th June no data for the 14kWh for 57p we used & then lots of missing slots for yesterday usage of 12kWh for -3p , all slots are filled by the mini but app & website both missing. Will give them a call tomorrow to see what's going on. First probs in nearly 2 yrs with Octo & hoping for a staight forward fix.0

I have been seeing oddities in the graphs on the app/website, missing the odd full day, and also have a couple of partial days. Yet the API has the full data with no gaps (likewise no gaps when I download data from the website), so they have it all. So I wonder if the graphing is buggy.Effician said:Getting a little nervous about making use of plunge pricing days as they don't seem to be showing full 1/2hr slots for my higher usage days , other days ok but the 8th June no data for the 14kWh for 57p we used & then lots of missing slots for yesterday usage of 12kWh for -3p , all slots are filled by the mini but app & website both missing. Will give them a call tomorrow to see what's going on. Why not give Octopus Watch a try. I have the paid for version which gives an estimate of half hourly prices for 48 hours ahead. The estimates aren’t terribly accurate but you can get a rough idea of the direction of travel of prices. The analysis of daily use is very helpful. I attach a couple of screenshots.
Edit: report for yesterday
Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)0 -
Doesn't inspire confidence to make full use of plunge price days does it, i'm potentially £5 down for the 2 days without full data if they apply SVR. Could have done with this in winter when it was at 99p/kWh.0

It's always been the way with Agile, but it is quite rare that data is irrecoverable. I have had just one gap that couldn't be recovered in over 4 years (as it was a single half hour, I was able to persuade them to write it off rather than bill that day at SVR). Though it is always a bit of a relief to see the data come through the day after a plunge.Effician said:Doesn't inspire confidence to make full use of plunge price days does it, i'm potentially £5 down for the 2 days without full data if they apply SVR. Agreed. Leave it a week, and then if the gaps have not filled in by themselves, give Octopus a ring (or email) detailing the dates for which there are missing data, and they will try to pull the data again which normally resolves things.masonic said:
