Perhaps an issue with the upstream forecasts from NESO? They look ok now, but were updated about half an hour ago, so perhaps they'll feed in to emoncms in due course.

Found Agile predict  https://agilepredict.com/B/  after looking through old posts in this thread Slinky mentioned  it & seems ok.

Is there a seasonal pattern in Agile prices? In the sense of "lower than average in summer, higher in winter", or v.v.

It varies ie last Dec was 11.5p/kWh on 210kWh, Feb was  20p/kWh for 130kWh & last month was 10p/kWh for 182kWh , i'm expecting this summer to average around 10p/kWh but who knows.

I think there is a bit of a pattern though in the sense that in summer, there are usually 2 periods each day of low Agile pricing - overnight and in the afternoon, whereas in winter it’s mainly only overnight.  However this doesn’t necessarily mean the average is lower over the whole day.

Which of the "graphical" sites have you found to be best at putting such patterns over visually? I have used gastracker in the past but there are a few others. In my book "average" comes with a health warning.

Change the drop down to your region, Sam.

Well I'm back on Agile now I'm back from holiday and making use of today's very nice pricing. I won't be able to return to my previous fix, so hopefully the recent trend will continue. You can blame me if prices now spike!

Tks for reminding me. There's a fair amount of stats to make sense of.
I was surprised to see that they Agile were not part of Octopus.

Unfortunately my smart meter packed in and has not sent any data since last Sunday so I guess I'll be shoved onto the flexible tariff on those days.

Fortunately though, I am moving out on Monday so it won't be my problem anymore!  Need to get smart meter fitted at new house!

Someone has logged an issue for this in the github repo ( https://github.com/emoncms/emoncms/issues/1924 ). Hopefully it is a simple case of updating the API URL, but in the mean time the agilepredict site seems a good alternative.
