Octopus Agile

My point is that when wholesale prices rise by 1p/unit, Agile goes up by 2.0 - 2.2 p/unit; it's not really a true reflection of wholesale prices, it's more extreme than that. The multiplier is part of the appeal of Agile because the same multiplier applies to plunge prices.bristolleedsfan said:
Formula and multipliers have not changed since Agile was launched I think during 2018, stayed same whether prices high or low, not as if customers are tied in.bob2302 said:
Agile's multiplier means that it exaggerates high prices.TroubledTarts said:
That would be a possibility if they had kept changing the tariff like tracker but they have not. This is just a true reflection of the current prices.northernstar007 said:another crazy 24hrs ahead, i wonder if octopus really are trying to kill this off0 -

Well Octopus muggered up my switch to E7. I was supposed to go on a Fix but they've put me on Flexible. The cheap 7 hours weren't when I was expecting either so was charging the batteries in the day rate for 30 minutes a night. Been a bit of a disaster really! I've emailed and got no response. Might just try to go back to Agile if these rates continue over the next few days.Make £2025 in 2025

I'd ring them - to be honest their e-mail service has gone to the dogs. I've always found emails can take a long time to get a response, whereas X/Twitter is very quick and usually gets things sorted out.MikeyPGT said:

I then did the switch, and raised the issue with him about why I wasn't getting the rates I was quoted, he was supposed to be looking into this and getting back to me, but it's all gone very quiet. I then realised that I was getting the Flexible rate, rather than the Fix I'd been quoted for 30 minutes before I phoned to ask to switch onto E7.I think I might just set our battery up to charge in the slots that would be cheap for Agile overnight, and give them a call tomorrow to go back to Agile if possible. IIRC when I went from Tracker to Agile, it backdated to midnight on the day I asked.Make £2025 in 2025
