Not that i can afford heinz soups now,but when i was a kid in th 70s i used to love beef soup.
Not beef broth or beef and veg, just plain beef soup.
No one makes it now, unless someone knows better3 -
Heinz sponge puddings in a tin, loved the chocolate one.
Colman's unsweetened Mint sauce
Carr's large Water crackers, you can get the small ones but not seen the large version in years.
Heinz Spring veg. soup has also changed, it used to be a clear broth style soup with veg., it's now like gloop.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

@jennystarpepper I really miss the Heinz puddings too, especially the treacle (golden syrup) which used to be a family favourite after a Sunday roast!
You can still get Carr's large water crackers as part of their large selection boxes, which are only widely available at Christmas. IMO they are very overpriced but it's worth keeping an eye out at the start of January as they're often heavily reduced.4 -

Anyone recall those soups you got in a small box which you had to add water to and simmer. I used to come home from school at lunchtimes and make it for myself in the early 70s. Gopping really when I look back?3

Not really on topic, (threads just turning into general long gone food nostalgia) but google suggests this https://www.doyouremember.co.uk/memory/chefs-square-shaped-soup
(nearly wrote a reply re being confused cos Cupasoup is still very easily available.)"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."5 -

I think food had more flavour years ago. Two things I miss are Queens gravy salt and camae soap.
I have seen the soap in Poundland but it was made in Indonesia and didn’t smell right 😂
