I’ve searched for that and nothing comes up, although I fear I’ve had one on another account I may have switched back out that I cannot see anymore
If you have the halifax app, and have the same internet banking log on information, i can see statements from an older closed halifax account on the in-box in app (when in the app, on top right there is a picture of an envelope, select that, you then go to the inbox, and my statements for a closed account are still in there) not sure if it depends on if you were set for paper/paperless but worth taking a look.

Same here, incentive just paid with switch due to complete on the 29th.

I wasn't sure I was going to get it this time. I opened a Halifax account in Nov 21 - I no longer have it - but I'm pretty sure the reason for opening it was to get a switching incentive.

    @Nebulous2, @jokono ...

    ... exactly the same.

Be careful with transfers. I had to phone the fraud line twice to release a £1,500 transfer back to Santander, and yes I had aready done a £1 in and out.

It was a 10 minute grilling each time, wanting me to log in and out of internet banking both mobile and desktop a few times. A couple of the random questions were 'what make is your smartphone?', 'are you at home at the moment?' and 'why do you want to transfer it to your savings account?'.

In closing, there were a series of questions whose answers could only be yes, the last one being 'the transfer when released will be at your own risk, Halifax will not be responsible for any losses, do you accept this?' 'OK the 'red flag' on your account has been cleared, you won't be troubled again'.

Took about an hour overall. Considering they had 'exceptionally high call volume' I think I got off lightly, don't you.

I do all my minimum funding requirements manually on the 1st, and have no intention of meeting the £1500 requirement this month. I've transferred enough in for my first month of my regular saver, I've £50 or so to transfer in from my donor account, and I've withdrawn from an ATM. I'll have about £1500 in and £1200 out on the first. Hopefully that activity reduces their concern about transfers.

I've always been wary about taking the proverbial with switching and have generally tried to have at least some usage for both the donor account and the one I've switched to. I intend keeping this one for the rewards and the regular saver.

Well that was an easy £175  :)
Account opened 17th March, incentive paid 22nd March
    Switch to complete 28th March.
I've only paid £10 into the account.
Would it be cheeky to switch to another bank as soon as this is completed?
I've done Natwest but thinking of trying RBS  B)
    Errrr...come back later ;)

    Hi @Wesker ...

Not interested in their regular saver 5.5% ?

Yes, it would be cheeky, but ... (I suspect LBG have a long memory).

I have a Halifax reward account opened recently. I have spent an amount in Tesco on the debit card nearly a week back but somehow the Reward account tracker status still shows me that I have spent 0.00 so far. How long does it take to update and show the correct spend? I have chosen the reward condition to be £500 spend each month and that's usually some minor spend plus a debit card deposit into my Skipton account.
