Looks fine, and if you are also using the rest of the defence by Johny86 that gets you a step nearer to either seeing the case discontinued or even struck out in certain court areas.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I suggest you re read the relevant thread1

Then you need to re-read that checklist you were following when you filed a DefenceChardgags98 said:I didn't read in the what to expect thread, I'd have a letter too?2 -
Hi all, this morning my husband received an email off DCB and a missed call ( at the exact same time!)..am I correct in thinking DCB Legal have skipped the DQ ( husband hasn't received his yet) Hearing Date and WS stage and are trying 'Without Prejudice Offer to Settle'??

It's DCB Legal. You are expecting them to try and con you into paying them a reduced sum because they have read your robust defence and know that if it were to proceed into a courtroom, they would receive their usual spanking.
Just ignore and wait for their inevitable discontinuance.2 -

Item 7 on that checklist you were following when a Defence was filed says...
Items 8, 9 and 10 on that checklist may well be worth another read.2 -
I suppose I wasn't expecting an email and phone call at this stage, I thought it would be a letter ( Its 28 days since I had the acknowledgement of my defence email) so I wouldn't class the email off DCB legal as 'early copy of claimants DQ' item 7 of the checklistWe're not all as knowledgeable as some, and a bit of kindness wouldn't go a miss.
It's quite an anxious time when you've not been through any of this, and complicated.0 -
Unfortunately, "kindness" can be in short supply when everyone is busy having to read questions that have either, already been answered or are there for the effort of a few mouse-clicks in the Newbies/FAQ thread that everyone is supposed to have studied rather than, as is more often the case, been skim-read without any absorption of the information provided and little thought about the amount of effort and preparation that has gone into it over the years.
Please don't take it personally but, particularly at this time of day when some of us have been reading hundreds of posts all day in order to try and provide some assistance, abbreviation can be misinterpreted.1
