    Its..... Friday round up time!!

EF ~ now £1795 of £2000 (first target)
Car pot: £485 of £700 (first target)
Health pot: £95 ~ this is looking a bit better now. Target is £500
Pension: £65 this week and sent £100 across from the holding pot ~ same as last week. Adding to my pension is going to have a higher priority this year (and every year from now on!! When and if any of the pots reach their target i will pop the excess into here
Pupster excess pot ~ £22.42 /£200 some round up and TTs added here

    challenges:
    £1 a day ~ £121/366 ~ £30 for Aprils money added
    1p 365 challenge (XMAS savings) ~ £235
52 week envelope stuffing ~ /52  oops, i have had very little cash this week, will aim to do 2 envelopes next week
MMOP ~ £0 nothing as yet
    ISA - £0

    V. happy with the pots. I had a good work week and it should be the same again next week. It feel so good to be able to add to the pots and then also add a bit more and round them up. Ive taken the interest from and couple and added that to the pupsters fund and I took an item of clothing back and added it to the pension fund.

DHs eye is doing really well. He is looking at cars this afternoon!!! He had a subsrciption car and returned it in December as hes not been driving, but is now, not surprisingly, very keen to get back behind the wheel. Im just hoping he stops looking at the sports cars soon and gets something more realistic!!

I have started a health pot after reading your diary FP, I should have thought to do one really as our only debt when I restarted this MFW journey was loans for carpets and dentists....We finally got rid of the dentist loan with a bonus payout, and only have the carpet one left, but ideally if we were to ever need dental work again I would like to have it covered rather than raid our new EF pot  so on pay day I will be making my first payment into my health pot! Well done on all the other ones, your EF is looking very good!
    MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. May 1st, £116, 123, June 1st, £115,536, New mortgage added for extension- £165,000 July 1st!

    Mortgage Overpayments - September-December, £152.46. Jan £103.27, Feb £115, March £91.50, April £100, May £200, June £200. July £200.
    Total- £1162.23
Goal to pay off 1% of current mortgage in one year. £1200. (96.83% there)

Yep def need a health pot! Mine is nowhere near what it needs to be, as I have a root canal that needs doing and also needs to have an eye check and i suspect new glasses!

having a funny day today, not been able to muster much energy at all. Best bit about today so far is cashing out from PA (18.73) and rounding it up to £20 and popping it as a MMOP, first of the month after the normal OP of £240 which goes out with the mortgage payment each month. SO I get to colour in a brick on my house, its the small things!

Meh days are fine, don't worry about them as you've done a lot lately, running around after / with everyone and the stress of DH wouldn't help either.

If you're enjoying the brick colouring perhaps go to a quid shop, get some colouring books (adult or children are equally as much fun) and felt pens. If you've access to a printer there are free pages to print. Might be something fun and relaxing for you to do.
