You are doing well. Treat this year as a practice run, figuring out what works / doesn't work and have another practice next year. By 2025 you'll have it sussed and it'll be easier.

Happy Monday
Blooming wet here, have to say a bit fed up with it is an understatement The garden is so spongy and the path has become like a little lake!
Anyhow, the payments ive been waiting for have come through and so have done a little money shuffle and £35 has gone into the 52 week envelope challege. Im hoping when I've finished this week i can do another one, but today was only a couple of hours so funds will be down this week.
But i was actually glad not to be too busy today has feeling rough, this pain has got me down. Im not usually the depressed kind, but this pain and then the worry of when it will return is just horrible.
Gratefuls today
Today I am greatful for our wonderful Woodburner, it cheers the room up no end
I am also greatful for snuggles with the pupster. He is very cute.
And thirdly, to DH who is cooking tea straight after finishing work. 💕

It is very hard not letting pain get to you. Have you a microwave heat thing or a small hot water bottle that you can hold in place? This time of year isn't good for those of us with nerve pain.
You're doing so well financially and have totally turned that corner.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

Ive been around but not posting!Things are settling. thank goodness ~ Started the wrapping fest yesterday and will hopefully carry on this afternoon when I finish work.DS2 birthday tomorrow, so then the tree can go up on the 15th! then Christmas can begin. ALways like to seperate their birthday from xmas, only seems right.I am collecting DS1 plus girlfriend on friday and all his stuff. He is coming coming, not is not for him, sadly. There will still be quite a lot of debt mind as his hall contract requires full payment and you cant live there is you are not studying ~ so thats another 5 and half thousand pounds to pay ~ and guess who??? It has definetly cuased some tension in the house when we found this out. DS1 will have to get a job to help pay some of it back, but his mental health is a big issue and Im not sure how or when he will be able to work.DH is still unable to drive due to eye, so I am running everyone found everywhere, thank goodness DS2 can drive and help out.Money updates:Well its been expensive times!!!! car needed 4 news tyres, 2 were advisoroies and 1 had a slow puncture, so seemed sensible to change all four. To the tune of £450 !!!SO my motoring fund which only had £61 in it, beacuse it hadnt recovered from the mot and service is empty again.DH has offered to pay half. So I need to sort out the other bit from somwhere. I pretty much halted all saving payments about 3 weeks ago as it was just getting all too tight. I now need to reset everything and get those pots bulding up again.
Heath pot is empty due to wisdom tooth extraction that was over £400.Side hustle has slowed down, only 1 regular monthly person, but actually this has been fine because I havent been able to give enough attention to that anyway. But I need to increase this next year so I can get those pension payments paid.MMOPs have also been completly rubbish, while I was in so much pain I didnt even try and do any surveys, plus my widget thingy stopped alerting me!! but Im on it again now and have done £18 yesterday and this morning. I had a 2 parter £7 each day ~ niceAm really going to try and get my target this month. Im a quarter in so far.
Later on I am going to have a look at the finances and have a good think about 2024 and my prorirites for savings and plan my challenges. I would reaslly like to see DH set up a challenge too, im ever hopefull.Todays gratefuls:Its not raining!!I have work to go to and its been a good weekMy family will all be here together for Christams xHave a good day allFlowers x♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025
