Saving lots in pots!

Nearly there, only a client tomorrow and then I'm done for xmas. 😜
I saw a lovely couple today and alrways have a good chat with the wife her DH has developed dementia, and the change is noticable each time I visit. So sad and extremly difficult for the family. She's a very lovely lady and she gave me a lovely large xmas tip! So ive rounded it up and just popped another 30 as a MMOP. 
So far this december there s been £90 in extra overpayments, £240 o/p automatically goes out. Mortgage is now £63127. 14. Really looking forward to seeing in it the 50s and then under 50. Can't wait!

Also, i did something this evening ive never done before, i made some fudge. 😋 DD was helping, sorry of, but didn't like the v hot sugar so left me to it! It tastes delicious, im going some will be left to gift! 🎁😍

* make food list DONE

* sort and clean fridge ready for food DONE

* See client (last of the year!) DONE

* Take bags to the charity shop DONE

* sort understairs STARTED

* find and print out 52 week envelope sheet I used this yr DONE ~ took ages!

P.S. the fudge is lush!

so its already the 27th december and we are in the Crimbo Limbo!!

Having a lovely quiet day after enterainging the last 2 days!

Started by cleaning out the wildlife pond which had got so clogged up with leaves and apples, it needed and jolly good clearing and topping up with water butt water and now with the delightful rain we have!

The other job I have started todday is to list my coin collection. I started collecting about 8 years ago, but its just sitting their and I dont get much fun from collecting anymore as I dont seem to use much cash anymore, so dont come across any new coins.

Not sure how much I will make but maybe a couple of hundred if Im lucky.

Also been looking at my S and S isa and sold a couple and re invested into something else! Need to put more in there in 24!

Also sold a lego kit for £27 so will post that today

thanks moving forwards. I do hope 2024 is a little easier than 2023!!

i am enjoying setting my sight on my savings and dreaming about what I can save, lets hope Im not over stretching myself !!

Yey! sold nother 6 x 10p coins yesterday I need to get posted off today. plus a bit of interest in my olypmic 50ps !!

The coin sales will go into my ISA, so that will help me towards the £1000 target!

Then I need to try and get myself a bit more organised. The house has become a bit of a state, and its overwhelming! I think I will start in the kitchen with the pantry. That would be very visually rewarding if I can get thet sorted!

Now Ive written it, I had better start it.

hi Doris, thanks for your confidence! The pantry is done and I know it is better and cleaner, but still looks like its all stuffed in there As for the ISA I have all of 2024 to reach it, so Im not worrying too much yet!!
