Saving lots in pots!

We're here through good and bad times, a place for laughter, tears and support.
Look at annual regular savers to build up untouchable pots. Do the year and drop it into a year fixed rate account. It's how I saved my mortgage deposit.
Challenges are good, but as you've found keeping up with all of them is hard. Pick a couple of the ones you can do all the way through and stick with them. When money increases a further challenge can be started.
I don't want to see you upset year end when things may have got in the way due to being overstretched.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Thank you @MovingForwards for you lovely reply. I did reply last night but seen to have lost my post!
Good news yesterday was I managed to get a £13.50 study on PA although it was 90 mins, and very tedious, it paid out in the evening👌 and that's made me over half way for September's MOPP amount.🍰 Decided to bung it across now, no point in it sitting in paypals account is it?!! 😎♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Anyone elses OH not want to talk about retirement?OH is 54 and i have siggested that we need to look at finances and consider when he would like to retire against when the funds would allow him to reitre, if thats even possible, but when ever I bring up the subject he doesnt want to talk about it.!! We are going through the process of simplying all his pensions and putting them together, I asked this evenging if the pension man has given him a figure of what is likely to be if he was to retire at state pension age. But he hasnt asked the pension man this. I suggested he should!!!. Im now off to the pension board to see if I can find a way to predict what the annual figure might be. We cant make any plans if we dont knwowhere we are!!!!feeling frustrated! In my head I am hoping he can retire at 64, 10 years from now, but we need more info before this pipe dream can be anything more!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Morning,
I have good news and bad news!
Good news first - DD is managing really well at the home ed centre and i also found out that they are regidteted as an alternative provider. SO, there is a possibility we could get her courses paid for. Which would be brilliant. And even better if they pay for the exams too.
Bad news, still having alot of pain in my face. It seems like it's not my teeth, but the trigeminsl nerve. It's blinking painful and stopping me sleeping. 😢I am trying to get a GP app and so far they haven't gotten round to answering my econsult, after 3 days, when it should within 48 hours. I am really hoping they get in touch today, i need some help with pain relied as parectamol and ibruprofen are not working!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

My OH doesn't talk about finances or pensions, had to give a heavy nudge so he updated the work one with us being married! Asked several times for him to check the state pension via g0v site.
Great news about potential funding for DD, that would ease financial pressure.
Sorry to hear the pain hasn't settled, hopefully your GP knows the right type of meds to prescribe as nerves are troublesome blighters. It may be trial and error to start with.
Keep on saving, numbers are heading in the right direction still.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
