Thanks thriftylynny, choc gateau sounds lovely 😋
Grey and cloudy this morning. Trip to tip with DF. Back home & then it rained. Brightened up this afternoon so washing hung out. Popped to local high street & got a Father’s Day card £1.29 for DF & big bar of caramel choc £2 (his favourite). I already pay for a publication subscription for him for his birthday & Father’s Day. All paid from Xmas & birthday pot. Then had a walk round the village. Resting again now. Feeling a bit better today.I am now 8 weeks into my lower carb / lower sugar attempts. 4 weeks until next hb a1c is due. Must stay away from cake!Dsis is coming over for the weekend & niece is coming over with baby on sat 🥰
I am cooking a roast dinner for DF & Dsis on sunday so I need to go shopping tomorrow, then I’m going round to my friends for a cuppa & chat in the afternoon.Aquafit on Friday0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Food shop at aldee this morning £49.70. Home & beef stew on in slow cooker. DF came round for a cuppa. After lunch I went to friends for cuppa and catch up before she goes on holiday. It’s been raining & cold since 5pm. Stew was warming 😋 Dinner tomorrow night at DF’s. We are planning on an Indian on Saturday and I bought a sage & onion chicken to cook on Sunday with roast potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, swede, plus broccoli and cauliflower. Will be making a chicken curry next week & chicken fajitas and tandoori chicken & Mediterranean veg tray bake. Lunches will be tuna, cheese, egg, ham salads or sandwiches (no added sugar bread 9g carb a slice). Cheese & ham omelette. I already have wheat shreds for breakfast (30g = 20g carb) with strawberries & snacks will be apples, pears, cheese “crisps”, pork scratchings, boiled eggs. Up to 130g carb a day including milk.Current account now £80.36 =Food £40

Can't seem to make up it's mind what season it is, rain, sun, thunder, flooding roads. Not surprised you've been under the weather (no pun intended).
It's great you've managed to get out and your shopping was good.
Enjoy baby cuddles.

Hello,
just catching up with your 'doing's' and glad that you're feeling a bit better after the cold. Your menus sound delicious as always and I cannot tell you how much I love reading about your daily lifeSAVER1 -
Just thinking could you make an almond and orange cake? It is delicious and lower carb due to no flour.
You could control the sugar if you bake it too.
It will be nice for sitting in the garden with friends. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks MF, Arrietty and dia 😊
I’m not supposed to eat citrus fruit dia due to acid reflux but lemon drizzle is my favourite after chocolate or carrot cake 😆 I really do need to make an effort to do some sugar free / low carb baking.I have had a lovely weekend with DF and Dsis despite the weather. Heavy rain and thunder storms. A few sunny spells yesterday. DF was cold Saturday evening & put his heating on! Roast dinner yesterday was lovely.I am up early this morning as my replacement boiler is due to be delivered today between 8am - 6pm. It’s been making rumbling noise since it was fitted and despite numerous visits by the manufacturer engineers they cannot fix it so they are replacing it under warranty.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Baron_Dale I just need to sort out what happens with the warranty as I’m buying it off an individual rather than a company. Will take my time to decide I do not make quick decisions 😆
Mine is no longer charging properly & sometimes menu button doesn’t work so I definitely need to change it. Mine is a 1st generation SE (2016) so time for an update.Aquafit was very energetic today. Bought a hot roast chicken on my way home & had some for lunch. Washed & hung towels & swimsuit out in the sun, then walked to friends for a cuppa & chat. Home & dry washing brought in just before the rain started. My new card reader has arrived so I have finally managed to sign in to online banking & change my email address. What a palaver 🙄 I can’t use the app biometrics as my camera on this phone is not good enough.
