I’m on page 20 already (and found your funny quote above just now 🤣)
am caught up in it now - and by the way your diary is definitely NOT BORING.I got some random spam email yesterday with smug blogger stating how we need £1 mil pension pot to retire on comfortably!! 🙀 dunno what planet that person lives on but found an article stating very few people have anything even near that to retire on and majority of folk in the usual pre retirement age range have about a tenth of that if they even have a pension beyond their state pension at all.) I don’t think I’ve earned anything near that amount over the entirety of my whole working life LOL.Then I had a semi related dream where I was shouting at golfers (sorry golfers don’t mean to stereotype - can’t help what you dream! 🤣)

Curtains were a good buy and I'll agree with SQS they'd have been hung without ironing!
Don't blame you for canx aqua, cold pool is uninviting and won't help your health.
Glad your dishwasher is up and running and your trip will be so much fun.
Your previous diaries were not boring, they help people see things can and do change!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks MF 😊
Time2count I am not sure about the curtains keeping the heat out but as they are thermal/ blackout lined I would think they should keep out some of the heat from the sun.SQS the spam email & £1m pension pots reminds me of the pensions board. I don’t stray over there 😱
It’s cold today only 13* indoors so the heating is on. Only doing some cooking today. I have woken with back ache just above the left but-tock (forest gump style 😆) Think it may have been caused by bending and vigorously brushing my dining room rug with the dustpan and brush. Not sure why I did that as I usually use my long handled brush or hoover with my cordless. Will take it easy today.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Have had a lovely weekend at my sisters on east coast.Friday was a good drive over. Back pain has eased. DF drove. Fish and chips for dinner treat my sister paid for 😋
Saturday the weather was dry and mild and my sister drove us to Pickering for a wander & we looked at the medieval wall paintings in a local church
https://www.pickeringchurch.com/the-paintings.html
We had lunch in a local bakery cafe which I paid for, less than £20 for 3 meals & lashings of tea 😊
Sunday was sunny day but cold 🥶
We had a walk along the sea front. Then we went out for Chinese meal just as it started snowing 😳 Meal was lovely & b-in-law insisted on paying for the 5 of us even though I offered to contribute.Have had a lovely weekend. Going home a bit later this morning. It’s still dark so I’m not sure if we have more snow!!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks SQS
Home again. Met up with niece and her partner for lunch. Food was over priced just under £20 for pie and chips and 3 drinks but good company. It is so cold 🥶 when I got back after a weekend away the house was 9* so the heating has been on!Water bill has arrived. First one since having my meter fitted. They must have done a “drive-by” reading & I am almost £40 in credit. My direct debit has been changed from £24 to £13 🤗
Have cancelled aquafit tomorrow. Don’t fancy trudging there in -4* temperatures forecast for the morning. Especially when I don’t know if the pool will be warm!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Wow it’s cold this morning 🥶
I am still in bed where it’s warm underneath the duvet. Will put the heating on soon and make a cup of tea. It’s 10.5 degrees in my bedroom at the moment
Called into Mr M on the way home yesterday and used the £2.50 voucher I received after emailing max cola company about a flat can in the middle of a pack I bought before Christmas.Today I plan on cooking the last swede and carrot in the microwave for mash and steaming the broccoli & freezing it. I have some reduced to clear sausages in the freezer that I cooked and froze in portions last week. I will have sausage with some mash & green veg and onion gravy for dinner tonight. 😋
Apart from that I plan to stay warm & read a book. Will be wearing my thermals today ☺️0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
