Enjoy the sun!

The purple crocus are now wide open in the sun, along with celandine and yellow primula 😊 Not sure what these dark purple flowers are? Maybe also crocuses?

Thanks jwil, Tresinia and dia 😊
It’s been a lovely spring day. ☀️ I didn’t need the heating on until 4pm. I hung out washing this morning then went for a walk around the village. Up to dads to empty the dehumidifier then I sprayed the weeds appearing on his front path. Also sprayed a few appearing on my driveway. Just watching tv this afternoon and made a roast 😋
My cousin and his wife phoned me for a chat to make sure I am ok bless them. He’s going to come and help me empty the final electrical stuff from dad’s shed. (Some sort of power converter thing 🤷♀️ ). I still need to do a couple of tip runs, might do one on Wednesday when it’s meant to be “warm” 14 degrees and dry with old carpet / lino / rusty deckchairs

Aldee shopping today £20.07 including fruit, veg, nuts, milk, 70% chocolate, butternut squash, eggs, bread, kitchen roll, chicken wings & wheat bics.
Made soup for lunch, leftover roast beef and veg this evening. I should have plenty for meals with chicken & goose mince (like beef mince) & white fish in the freezer.
Aquafit booked for the morning then out to lunch with my friend.

That is a good shop for £20. I might have to cycle to Aldee this week to make the most of my £25 food budget. I was NSD yesterday so I still have it
I hope the pool is warm

Thanks dia 😊 it was more like a “top up” shop to make meals with things I already have in my store cupboard/ freezer. (Meat / fish). I know I am lucky to have more than £20 a week for food
Aquafit was warmer today 🤗 but I really had to force myself to go. I’ve been struggling with sciatica in my leg so I only did 30 minutes of gentle exercise in the water.
Picked up my friend after and drove us to the range. We had lunch in the cafe, I had jacket potato with bbq pulled pork, salad & coleslaw & my friend had tuna panini melt & chips. We shared a bottle of diet cola total £13.63. Had a mooch round the shops but didn’t buy anything.
I did order 3 bras at the weekend from Matt Alan £27 with free delivery to store so my friend said she will drive us over to the other shops next week and treat us to lunch & I will pick them up.
I'm hoping to do a tip run tomorrow with some of the stuff in dads shed as the weather is supposed to be nice. A few days of sun and now all the daffys are flowering 😊

Have been wide awake for a few hours with pain in my leg. I don’t think aquafit has helped my mobility. 😉 I was going to do a tip run today but may postpone it until next week. I will see how I feel when I get out of bed. No aquafit on Friday as I agreed to take my friend to the hospital & home again after minor surgery.
