Subject shift - I used to be able to quote another forumite’s message and cut the text to include or highlight anything I wanted to quote, but the new text editor seems to only allow me to quote the entire message. I’m probably being thick here but does anyone know what I’m doing wrong please?
Suze I was looking at the instructions for quotes and it says … When you Quote with the new Editor, the quote is made into a block you can't edit.
So if you want to quote part of a post if you follow the instructions it appears with the grey left side stripe as shown above

I’m not very good at this but hopefully it makes sense. The old way was much easier and looked better!❤️Mum 2018

Thanks Arrietty and dia ❤️
I tried to relax yesterday and did some reading.
I got an email from the MSE cheap energy club confirming my 2nd attempt was rejected and made a complaint to BG. It’s all rather pointless now as I have missed the cheap tariff. However I need to find out why BG refused to make sure it doesn’t happen again. My fix with them ends 30 April and I should be able to change suppliers 49 days before then, so hopefully there will still be some cheap tariffs around mid March.
Fancied a takeaway last night but it was £17 with delivery, so instead I made some spicy chicken wings in the air fryer. 😋
Lovely and sunny here this morning but cold & no wind. However I am washing multiple towels and will hang them out to air even if they don’t dry.

£17 for a takeaway for one🫣I'd want them to lay the table and silver service with that, thanks

Well done for going for chicken wings instead of spending £17.
Where they already prepped in the fridge or frozen?

Thanks Tresinia, KK, dia & Suze 😊
Kebab would be £11.50, chips £2.50, delivery £3. Chicken wings were bought from aldee with weekly shop, dated bbe 16th. I sprayed half a pack with 1 cal olive oil spray & sprinkled with Cajun spices. Turned over half way during cooking in the air fryer 😋 30 mins at 175’
Cold here so have just been reading. Chicken fillets out of the freezer for tea today with last of the peppers and courgettes in black bean sauce with mashed broccoli and cauli “rice”. The other half pack of chicken wings for lunch tomorrow & stew from the freezer for tea. Will get some food shopping on Monday after my sister arrives.
The bed is made up in the spare room. I have cleaned the bathroom. Tomorrow I will hoover upstairs & mop the kitchen and bathroom floors.
