it’s been quite mild out here - we got up to 10 degrees today - the lounge is 18c with the log burner and we do have lap rugs on as well.

Absolutely longing for spring - the camellias are blooming and first flush frostbitten. All the daffodils are on the cusp. 🙏🏻ing for early spring in March.

Another downvote for Aquafit - the least they can do is make the water toasty it is blumin February after all!! 😮‍💨

Sya, it's horrible feeling not being able to get warm. Hope you get toasty soon x

I think the damp makes it feel colder than it is. Temperatures are not that cold here but I feel very cold. I ordered a V shaped pillow so I can read in bed! As I feel cosy there 😊

Interesting what you say about glasses and neck/back pain (both issues for me) I need to get my eyes sorted and will bear that in mind.

I always do an extra spin on all clothes so that wasn't the issue but thank you

Lovely to see crocus pic 😊

was just going to say the same thing about the crocus photo - really gives me a lift seeing things reawakening in the garden.

Subject shift - I used to be able to quote another forumite’s message and cut the text to include or highlight anything I wanted to quote, but the new text editor seems to only allow me to quote the entire message. I’m probably being thick here but does anyone know what I’m doing wrong please?

I also loved the crocus pics, SYA! I haven’t seen many about here yet, but the daffodils are starting to bloom which are my favourites, especially when in big clumps and different variations in colour. 💛🌼

Thanks dia, Suze & MeandO 😊 Just need it to stop raining now!! No daffys here yet

Sorry Suze I couldn’t work it out either. At least it does shrink the message rather than quoting the whole lot.

Shopping trip aldee this morning spent £39.25. Menu this week

Breakfast = Eggs on toast, beans on toast, wheat bics,

Lunch = tuna sandwich, butternut squash & lentil soup, vegetable soup, cheese or mushroom omelette

Dinner = spicy chicken wings x 2, beef & butternut squash & chickpea & spinach curry x 4, fish & butternut squash & mushroom in parsley sauce x 4. Leftover portions will be frozen.

Went for cuppa and chat with my friend and then finished my jigsaw. Just more sadmin tomorrow & final lot of photocopying on Thursday. My sister is coming over next week & we have an appointment with the solicitor to hand over all the house paperwork. That part I am definitely not going to attempt dealing with myself 😉

Fed up this morning has been wasted trying to sort out my energy tariff. I went through the MSE Cheap Energy Club to transfer to their British Gas Collective Feb 27 tariff. I am already a British Gas customer in credit but they have refused me twice 😞 No one at MSE or BG seems to be able to help. In fact BG seem to be making things up 😡

Need to go and have a break now before I start some sadmin. 🤯

gosh that sounds so frustrating - did the switch say it was for existing BG customers? If so you might want to escalate it as I believe you usually get a sweetener back off MSE’s kickback for signing you up. I did it once before we got the solar panels/EV and the money did come through but we were with a diffeeent company than the one we were switching to.

Hope the sadmin not too onerous - hug to you xx
