Glad to hear that you're feeling slightly better now and you're fully stocked so you can stay home and avoid weather.

    I can't believe it's 6 months.

That's really good of the library.

    I love libraries

    Great deal on the lunch

Drying indoors is all I have done for months

I can't believe it is six months already either…

Starting with belated hugs for Christmas and NY. Your budget looks fantastic and it was great seeing the "forensic comparison" since retiring.

The urge to move back to where DS is is normal. As is considering buying DF's property. Things do settle after a while. I'd advocate staying in your existing home and feel you want to buy the memories and spirit and would struggle to change anything.

Seems like you're getting on well with the AF; the cord is the fire risk as most people leave it tucked at the back and it gets really hot.

Are there any markets or farm shops you can visit? With summer approaching you could also look at pick your own and other local pop up events.

Take care of yourself, the last half year has been tough and your body is under a lot of stress.

Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

    Thanks dia & MF 😊

Very wet weekend. Managed a walk to my friends on Saturday. Did a bit of washing but had to dry it indoors with the heating and dehumidifier on. Dug out a jigsaw puzzle, haven’t done one for years. Only 500 pieces & about half done.

Out for brunch with my friend today at spoons & a mooch around the shops in nearby little high street. Not much there nowadays but still a small b n m, £ land, greengrocer, super drug, charity shops & a hardware store, little newsagents, couple of bakers, a gregs plus an independent cafe, estate agents, post office, fish market, bargain clothes shop, spec savers. It sounds more than it is, it’s very run down and some shops are boarded up, sadly like many high streets today and the thriving bustling market has long since closed.
