Thanks dia and Tresinia ☺️
Meter readings have produced a new quarterly energy bill and I am £186.93 in credit. My year runs to 30 April 2026 so my account should be balanced by then unless I use more / less energy than last year.Next bill due January so will have paid another 3 x £63.63 so will have £377.82 credit by then. Last January bill £286.23.Last April bill £256.17 will have paid another £190.89 by then plus remaining credit £91.59 so £282.48. Obviously it depends how cold this winter turns out to be0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Eek I’ve just agreed to lunch out with my friend tomorrow and it’s my turn to pay. 🫣 Plus I’ve booked a table at the local carvery for me and my sister on Sunday. Have decided to treat us from DIY pot. Still have £1600 available to pay for solicitor/ radiator/ probate. Will hopefully be able to apply for probate next week once we have seen the solicitor on Monday. I have already withdrawn £200 to pay the roofer and £65 to pay for the EPC.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Enjoy your lunch

Did not go to aquafit this morning just not feeling it and too much to do. Cold but sunny & breezy morning so I have washed & hung out towels, moved some of dads tools into my shed until other family members pick them up and moved some edging bricks and slabs across the garden ready to finish off the end of my border. That’s it for me today as I have just been for my flu jab and am now taking it easy with a cuppa before going out to lunch. ☺️ Phoned the village chemist this morning and they managed to fit me in for the jab this morning so that saved me messing around trying to get a GP appointment. Will pick up a few items of shopping in aldee for the weekend after lunch. Out for a roast on Sunday with my sister. We are both meeting up with our niece and little lad on Monday for lunch.Depending on when plumber is coming to fit my new radiator I will be going to visit a friend in Whitby and take her some of dad’s gardening tools as a housewarming present. While I’m over that way I will stay at my sisters and hopefully we can apply for probate using her laptop and broadband instead of trying to do it on my phone!Maybe I will be complaining when life slows down but I am ready for a break once it’s all done and dads house is on the market.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Wow it’s all go SYA! Sounds prudent not
going aqua today. And sounds a lot easier doing probate (2 words not normally uttered in the same sentence) than trying on your phone!!
enjoy Whitby it’s one of my fave places on earth - would love to retire there near the cliffs in my dreams
edit to say - had my flu jab last week and no ill effects with some very minor pain relief. Did make me sleepy tho!Lancashire

The trip to Whitby will be good for you. Isn't it Whitby that always wins awards for F&Cs?If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks Suze I’ve been taking pain paras but have woken with a sore arm and snuffly nose this morning and can’t get back to sleep. Not sure about Whitby f&c’s dia but I think they always taste better by the sea ☺️
Having said that I had f&c yesterday for lunch, 2 meals and 2 drinks £28. Then popped to aldee and picked up chicken for tandoori tray bake tonight, gammon and cauliflower for Tuesday night with sister, milk & bacon & bread & coffee £21.76. Will just need to pick up some cream for cauli cheese.I have to go to dad’s for the EPC this morning. It was dry yesterday and windy so the small lawn at the back should be dry so I may give that a quick cut. Only takes about 10 mins. Next door do not look after their garden so I may have to discuss this with the solicitor. Dad never complained about it but one of the other neighbours has moaned to me about it. Not sure if this will put buyers off. I think this is what is causing a lot of my anxiety at the moment.Weather forecast today is dry, cold, windy so I will wash & hang out bedding.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Unless next door’s is really bad I wouldn’t worry about it too much. It wouldn’t put me off buying a property. And if it is really bad (as in harbourage for rats etc) then ask your local council EHO to pay a visit.KKAs at 15.10.25:

Thanks but think more dogs than rats. 😕 Will speak with my sister and we will decide what to do.EPC man came round this morning and I am just waiting now for his email. Have just been relaxing & sorting washing and have written up questions for the solicitor. Need to be on the ball when we see them.Early lunch was bacon and egg sandwich. I am making tandoori chicken with roasted courgettes, peppers, onions and butternut squash for dinner.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
