Feeling very strange today. I have spent the day cleaning at dads ready for the estate agent coming to take photos tomorrow. Garden swept & leaves picked up. Front door & upvc windows wiped down. Hoovered & wiped round inside & mopped. Popped home for lunch and a snooze then back again for a couple of hours. Was supposed to be sunny tomorrow but now it’s forecast rain so hopefully the photos won’t be dark.Tried the swimsuits this morning and will keep the larger size & return the other tomorrow. Not going to aquafit in the morning as just feel exhausted. I’m napping a couple of times a day. All caught up again and lots of progress made. When everything is done you'll be able to grieve properly.
The clock changes do seem to drag us into the reminder winter is fast approaching.

Sya, I've been through this. Strange is actually very normal. You are coming to the end of a journey you didn't expect to be on. It's only on the other side you can reset and recover6

Take the rest when you can. It can only help.

Struggling with anxiety & have been awake since 4am. Also did myself no favours eating a whole packet of biscuits last night. 😈I must not buy biscuits
I must not buy biscuits
I must not buy biscuits 🙅♀️🤦♀️
Today I will return one swimsuit for a refund to clear my credit card, then trip to Mr T for copy of some old photos.I am going to buy beef & veg for tomorrow for a stew in my slow cooker. Today I need to use up 2 slices of bacon (breakfast) and a cooked chicken breast which I will warm through in gravy and have with rtc root veg mash & greens from the freezer. I still have 2 x chilli & 2 x chicken casserole in the freezer.I need to phone the plumber who still has not been in touch about my radiator. The estate agent is due this afternoon. I am a worrier, this is the worst I have been since leaving work 😰0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Oh SYA - I’m so sorry this anxiety is weighing down on you. Fellow worrier here - one thing I’ve found that helps is writing down whatever I’m thinking about to ‘get it out my head’ which seems to help me relax and get to sleep.
The biscuits made me laugh - clearly not your fault that they make them so moreish 😂
Good luck collaring that plumber. Try not to worry about the estate agent - just trust your gut. Estate agent is there to work for you - you are the boss xxLancashire

I'm not surprised you are feeling anxious. Trying to deal with missing tradesmen on one hand & the unknown house selling thing is enough to make anyone anxious. It will all work out though. As for the estate agent - I went with the optimist with the slightly lower figure than the pessimist with the higher figure.4

We did the opposite - we listed 15k higher than the highest estimate and had full asking price offer within 48 hours and that sale completed 3 months later.badmemory said:I'm not surprised you are feeling anxious. Don’t pay any attention to their nonsense and you do you.Lancashire

I would set the price high. The budget is coming, it's easy to lop off a few thousand but not so easy to add it on. Get 3 quotes from agents to be more confident. A bit of a pain but you are paying for the service, make sure you get the right one2

Thanks Suze, badmemory and Tresinia 😘
We have already done the 3 quotes and chosen the most positive proactive sounding agent who I got on with ok. It just feels very daunting as they now ask you lots of legal questions about access, boundaries, neighbours, planning which I didn’t have to do until the solicitor stage when I sold mine to my son. Anyway he did the photos & made it as painless as possible. Then I went to my friends for a cuppa & cake. This morning I kept myself busy. Took one of the swimsuits back for a refund, on to mr t for copy of some old photos, bought stew ingredients for tomorrow & half shoulder of lamb £5.68 (on offer £6.75 kg reduced from £13.50kg) for Sunday after remembrance service I will roast it with half the swede, carrot, parsnip & dads butternut squash 😋 Dropped off some baby toys to charity shop that little lad has outgrown already! If the weather is as nice tomorrow as forecast I will catch up on washing & do some gardening & hoover my car. Gardening might wait if I don’t feel up to it as I have a fortnight to the last green bin collection. Hopefully we will have a nice dry day between now and then 🙄0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
