Can’t believe they was queuing outside aldeee 😱 don’t think I’ve ever seen a queue outside of ours before! Maybe they had a special offer on or something?
edit to say we just got back from our aldeee - and shopping came to £37 which included £5 worth of kindling. It was a small shop this time but we still got milk, veg, fruit, 3 different meats, bread, crumpets, cereal, crisps, a couple stir fry sauces, ice lollies, garlic bread for OH -
so not too bad for the money these days but reckon everything is about 30-50% higher price compared to 4 years agoLancashire

Hey Suze looks like a good haul there for only £37 ☺️ They don’t open until 10am on a Sunday so people were waiting for them to unlock the doors!I am going out with my friend to spoons for brunch this morning. Must also ring my plumber to fit a new radiator and phone council tax as we are still waiting for a letter about the trust and need this to take to the solicitor next week. I’ve just planned out my calendar for the next 2 weeks and I’m busy 🫣😵💫 but that’s the price of taking 3 weeks off. 😉Chilli in my slow cooker this morning. Rain is forecast for the rest of the day.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

You are back on it

So good to have decent relationships with neighbours. Getting the chimney work done this way is greatIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks Dia ☺️
Enforced day of rest yesterday after waking early with need to dash to loo. Enuf said. Nursed an aching gurgling stomach for the rest of the day. Managed chicken cup of soup & toast. Heating was on and up to 20 degrees as I had a chill. Feeling better this morning after an early night. Portable thermostat says 17.5 degrees this morning so no heating on.Managed to sort paperwork yesterday that arrived while I was away and booked an EPC on dads house for Saturday £65. Much cheaper than quoted by estate agents (£90+). Checked on gov website that he was genuine & qualified before contacting him. Also checked some of last 7 years of bank statements of dads for probate. There were some cheques that I didn’t have the payee details for, but I phoned the bank and they provided details for all but one back in 2018.Today I need to pop into dad’s & empty dehumidifier. If it is as nice weather as forecast I will open all his windows for 15 mins to air the house. I will also read his water meter & phone water company as they have sent an estimated bill. I suppose I don’t have to as it would all come out in the wash at the end when house is sold and final meter readings provided, but I want them to change the name on the bill to “executor of” otherwise it looks like my bill.First of all I will put chicken stew in the slow cooker and hang washing out.Still in bed at the moment. Will take it easy today 😉0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks KajiKita and dia ☺️
Grey wet start to the day this morning. I have been clearing my kitchen ready for new radiator being installed, hopefully next week. Paperwork all moved upstairs. Room of doom (under stairs) tidied up and I can now get into my freezer! Lots of cardboard into the recycling bin. Kitchen/ diner looks huge now I can see the floor 😂
Its brightened up this afternoon & fairly windy. I’ve done some weeding into the garden waste bin and moved the chainsaw & hedge trimmer into shed. Still a couple of toolboxes to go! Yes it’s all been in my house but as I wasn’t here for 3 weeks it’s only just getting sorted now. Off to my friend’s for a cuppa in 10mins.Still planning to go to aquafit tomorrow.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
