Thank goodness it didn’t breakdown before my bond matured Suze !!Emergency fund £1000 minus cost of freezer, plus bits & bobs of interest = £830. I plan to top this back up with any odds & ends left each month.Aldee top up shop = chicken fillets, jar curry sauce & chickpeas in slow cooker with chopped red pepper and butternut squash & spinach. Also bought fruit & veg, nuts, frozen spinach/cauli / broccoli, low-carb bread. Cleaning bathroom spray, anti-bac wipes, rinse aid & dishwasher salt, total spend £25.08.New freezer is now full of veg & goose 😆 plus leftover stew portions from yesterday, a loaf of bread, fish & any leftover curry from today.I am going out for lunch with my friend tomorrow & I need to top up my birthday card stash for this year while we are at the shops.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I cancelled aquafit today. Couldn’t bear the thought of getting in the cold water. Instead I took my friend for brunch. Two meals & 2 drinks in ‘spoons £11.29. B & M for a couple of stocking fillers for DS & gf Xmas bags to take down with me (£9 from Xmas pot) and a storage box with lid for under the stairs £4 (household fund). Plus birthday cards £4.25 from Xmas / birthday pot.Since I got back I have sorted 5 black bags of old shoes / old dog walking jeans only fit for bin & bits of plastic & tat. Towels washed & hung out as the sun appeared & wind picked up. Dsis is coming over for the weekend so I am looking forward to seeing her0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Skint_yet_Again said:Unfortunately Lord_Mattenly all the small freezers / undercounter freezers are energy rated E. Only one model is frost free. So DF drove us to curries and we took one away £259. I need to leave it to stand then plug in tonight and it should be cold enough by the morning. Then I can put the packs of goose back in and go to aldee to restock on veg / bread.
I think you'll find that they've changed all the ratings on electrical goods and that 'e' is actually very good and will save you money when compared to your old one.I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy2 -
Thanks Suze, I hope we get some warmer weather. I feel grotty today and I’m sure it’s a lack of sunshine
Thanks Chrystal I didn’t know that about the ratings. I have no idea what rating the old one was as I got it free with the house. It’s lasted me 2 years so I guess it doesn’t owe me anything.I’ve tried avocado on toast for breakfast 😝 don’t think I will bother with that again. I have one left which I will try with 70% chocolate for low carb mousse.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
