Have just realised my car tax is due for renewal and I forgot to do it before I left 😱

Thank goodness DF is there, he popped to mine and read me the reference and I have just renewed online £160. That will teach me to pay it as soon as I get the bill !!

Skinty, car tax and other bills agree! The old saying, don't put it down,  put it away!! Good job you remembered. Not sure if there might be a grace period?

Not sure how you run your shopping weeks (Sat-Fri or Mon-Sun or another variant), but both a Sat and a Mon start will mean a 5 week month in March, just in case that affects your budget SYA

Morning all 😊 I was hoping it would be getting warmer Suze but we have had frost the past 2 days. Lovely and sunny tho with blue skies. I had a lovely walk with a friend down the seafront yesterday.

Tresinia I don’t think there is any grace period these days. Luckily I remembered 😬

Thanks Time2count, I am not home until next week and usually shop on a Wednesday so it’s 4 for me

I went shopping yesterday and got a pair of jeans and a pair of shoes in mat alan. When I went to pay they told me because it was over £30 I could have 20% off! So I saved £7.40 🤗  I’m not sure how long the deal is on for but you can get 25% off £60

Today I am meeting the girls for brunch / lunch just along the coast so I am looking forward to seeing them.

Thanks Doris, food was amazing, it was lovely and sunny and warm. Really enjoyed it, there was 6 of us so lots of chat & laughter.

I have been lucky with the discounts on food and clothing whilst I’ve been here. I am taking DS and gf for a roast today and need to fill up the car for the journey home tomorrow. Will go for a walk this afternoon then it’s homeward bound in the morning.

Thanks Tresinia & Suze. Felt very emotional leaving. Arrived home after a long drive and called off at asd@ for a cooked chicken & stir fry veg for tea.

Unpacked the car and started to feel a bit unwell which has turned overnight into an awful headache and sore throat & shivery temperature. The last time I felt this bad it was covid 😳 so I may do a test later. Very little sleep so have cancelled aquafit. 😕
