Hello,
I just wanted to add my sympathies regarding your friend's daughter, such awful news. Sending love and support.

Thank you all. I have been living in my own bubble since I moved here but I am going back in September to see everyone. I am blessed with my own health & that of my family and am grateful three of my relatives have survived cancer treatments in the last few years. I think it’s just that my friend’s daughter is so young and in the prime of her life. I’m not feeling like posting much at the moment but I am lurking and keeping up with your posts. ❤️0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Take all the time you need SYA, we'll be here when you need some support or are ready to go back to your usual posts. Your posts have always been supportive towards others.
It's good it's not long till you go back for a visit, receiving bad/ shocking news when you can't be with those affected does make it seem harder, it's more of an internal dialogue about what's going on plus potentially guilt for not 'being there'.
If you're half of a good 'real life' friend as you are on here then your friend knows that you're only a phone call away to offload to.
Reading your posts over the months I wouldn't say you've been living in a bubble since moving. There's always talk of the last/ next trip back and meeting up with several people while away and no doubt you're in contact with them whilst you're at home. Lean on those near home to support you now so you will be a tower of strength for your friend when you see them (we all know how wonderful your DF is 😉)4 -

Have a safe journey!
I find that when faced with difficult or sad events keeping to my everyday routines is comforting and gives a sense of normality.
I remember when my sister died her 13 year old twins bravely took themselves to school the next day. They believed it was what their mum would have wanted then to do, as well as helping them cope with a difficult situation.
Also the support of the school and their friends helped them enormously.
Take good care of yourself.4 -
