it sounds like another lovely week at yours.
I know I've said it before, but your retirement is such an inspiration to me; a great example of how to live well and enjoy life without spending a fortune and being all unnecessarySAVER1 -

I have just had some bad news from a friend down south. Her daughter has been diagnosed with breast cancer & it has spread 😢 Such awful news & so young. (30,s).May take some time away. 💔0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
House sale OCT 2022 = NOW MORTGAGE FREE 🤗
House purchase completed FEB 2023 🥳🍾 Left work. 🤗
Retired at 55 & now living off the equity £10k a year (until pensions start at 60 & 67).

Edited, as I read out of linear order and wanted to say how awful re your friend's daughter.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
