NSD 4 today. Up at 6am to lots of snow. Had to leave at 7 for an early visit at work, ummed and aahed about whether to drive or get the train, then checked the train app and they were all up the creek so I had no other choice!
Busy day but almost finished everything. Sat in the coldest room and didn't even take my coat off until about 2pm!
Checked my finances and all on track.9 -
Still stuck on NSD2, but hoping for another tomorrow - I don't THINK I need anything. Having said that, I didn't think I did today, but ended up having to get printer ink, as DD was desperate to print out a job applicationUnexpected extra day at work today, due to staff not getting in because of the snow. Not a great deal here, but apparently some of the surrounding towns had more. At least we got to finish an hour early, due to a shortage of people mad enough to be out in itPosted a card to GS1, who has a birthday tomorrow. Should have posted it a bit earlier really, but never mind.Packed a small ebay sale, ready to post tomorrow. Only needs an envelope and a stamp thank goodness!Lovely and warm with the stove alight, and we have just had sausage casserole and roasted vegetables for dinner (yum!) Grateful for both of those things, especially given the snow, and the fact that I work in a cold shop!10

I have a Barcelona Football Club pencil case which is often noticed by the football-mad pupils. Then I realise that I bought it before dc was born, so it's now about 16 or 17 years old and still going strong!Today I am grateful for the snow and for being used to driving in it from when I lived above the snowline in Sheffield, for a relaxed gym + liddle visit, for dh taking it easy (maybe I should hide all his pants to ensure he stays in bed...!), for completing my y11 reports and writing some important emails about pupils, for being warm and snug (sorry, DawnW!), for 85% chocolate.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!9

Had the dreaded meeting with manager to report progress on my procrastination project - it went absolutely fine and she was happy with what I’d produced. Glad I put in the extra effort even if it was a frantic last minute effort. Note to future self - just get on with it!Staying on NSD 3 because I bought milk and a takeaway for dinner… I couldn’t face preparing a dinner after two nights of interrupted sleep a mixture of anxiety about today’s work meeting and OH and DS being restless and noisy.Grateful for dreaded meeting not being dreadful, for Mum popping in at lunchtime to see how I was doing, for a lazy takeaway (I did enjoy it), and for OH making me laugh.

My favourite pencil case was an old wooden one I found in my grans house. Not sure where it went now
.
Another spent day. DD managed to loose two hoodies in school and DS has no socks without holes, he has his butcher looking out of all of them. If that is not a weird expression we Germans have, lol. Although I think it's quite regional to where I'm from.
No snow here but way below freezing.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/2511 -
NSD 5, but had the Water bill and the C-Tax bill in today = an extra £50 a month on the household bills. Boo!It has snowed most of the afternoon, but is not sticking, it is wet snow in Le Shire.Oh, I do not have a favourite pencil case, but I do have a hedgehog pot that I keep my pens standing up in. ..4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

NSD 5 today.
Lots more snow overnight- we must have had about 12-15cm over the 2 nights, at least it is melting a bit through the day and no more forecast for tonight. It was -3 at 5pm though so what is still on the roads is going to be like an ice rink in the morning.
DD has outgrown a jacket so that can have a wash and go into the CS bag.
Lunch made for taking to work tomorrow.
My lunch bag has butterflies on it- it was an unplanned spend a year or so ago but it makes me smile when I make my lunch and I'm sure I've been better at taking lunch with me since I got it!

Still have snow today. The schools were open but a lot of the buses weren't going, so DS3 had s day at home. I drove the long way to work, it was -4 in places. Work went fine. Went the normal (slightly shorter) route home, alternated from 4 to -1, depending which part of the road I was on. All very picturesque though.
Dropped sewing off en route, the lady stuck an extra £5 in the envelope, so will put that towards my holiday 😊
Messaged my work bestie as she still has covid & is quite poorly with it. I tested negative today - yippee!
Unpicked 3 zips after tea, & replaced one. Did some Norway practice.
Grateful for happy customers, finishing a book with my pupil so we can now start book 5 in the series (this one has 571 pages! 😯), beautiful scenery, testing negativeUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
